Coach Smart was at Brossart last year and parents and players really liked him. We were hoping he’d be back this year but glad to see he’s still coaching.

I believe you are 100% correct in your all of your observations!

I don’t think that logic works with this game. Brossart played one of their best games in years against Sayre then two weeks later played one of their flattest games in years against Bracken. Not to take away anything from Bracken’s win against Brossart last week as they were a dominant force for sure. I do think Bracken’s formidable size and skill on Oline and Dline could pose a problem for Sayre though.

Hats off to BC. They came out ready to play and capitalized on several big plays that made it impossible for Brossart to recover.

Brossart JV QB went out in first half with an injury and never returned. Hopefully he’ll be back for round 2 this Saturday.

Great exciting defensive game by both teams. Not much end to end productive offense either way until final Sayre drive. Brossart put themselves out there for sure!
