@Purple88, tbh with me I think it can be a good game. Do I think we can win, yes but it has to be a mistake free game. Basing this on last weeks scrimmage against PT. NOW, we do have some key players out, so that will hurt. This isn’t the same OC team as the past two years. They have speed and athleticism, just different built. Carothers does not need to try to do it all either. He has to relax and try not to force it!! Carothers will be playing against family, barber and he are 1st cousins. Personal battle there. BG is a different level though. They rebuild every year and have the players. It’s one of the best, if not the best in the state. I have not watched any film, but heard BG struggled a bit on offense with the new QB. That’s expected because you gotta know your receivers. Same as us with a new QB. Defense is very strong and a force to be reckoned with. I think bowling green should win but who knows. I just want it to be a clean, injury free game for both teams. Can I see BG blowing us out, yes if we make dumb mistakes and turn the ball over. Gotta give the defense a rest.

OC moved the ball on PT but dumb mistakes and three interceptions killing momentum. Botched punt, botched kickoff, and other things. Overall PT is good. I like their o line. Big and aggressive. Good scrimmage for both teams.

OC Varsity ends up playing first 2 and last quarter. Final varsity was 31-21 OC

Do you have any times available to share?

We are coming but if we play at noon we’d drive up that day. If we play at 8, then we come up the night before. That’s how it changes things and parents can make plans to come watch.

That puts teams traveling a good distance at a disadvantage!! Barely any rooms left for Friday night as it is!

I’m hearing Hampton will be your qb!! That’s the word. lol. Wouldn’t be a bad idea. Running qb!

In my personal opinion I think that this senior class has never gotten the respect that the others have. They have been overlooked and not a lot of “press”. I think this is one of the better senior classes they will have. Given the young talent behind them could make it for an interesting season.
