I don't claim to know everything, but I've heard from some very reliable sources this one is a done deal. I'm not going to reveal anything else because if I throw the name out it narrows down who could've said it immensely.

The facilities are being worked on daily. The ground is still being prepared currently. Lots of dirt has to be moved.

Right, the question now becomes who is going to be #2 (DCA obviously at 1) in the girls 45th district. I still think Danville owns that with the pieces they've got but in my opinion, Lincoln has a shot if they find a disciplined coach.

They win consistently in middle school, still. No heavy hitters, but all the players are still solid. Top 3 team in all grade levels in the conference. Roster is spotty at the high school, but there are some really solid pieces. Still have decent guards going into next season. From what I understand, culture has spiraled downward. Lots of turmoil within ever since McWhorter left and towards the end of her tenure. Definitely a position there should be plenty of interest in.

Sources in GC are saying lots of talk that Cooper is gone.

As of today, I'm hearing from Boyle connections that McWhorter's name is being tossed around heavily.

I'm hearing Lincoln County's head assistant, Travis Frith, has accepted this job.

I'll be honest, from the outside looking in, he did pretty well with what little he had to work with. Hate to see him go, he seemed to get the most out of his players!

Totally agree. That's why there was such a difference between game #1 vs Lincoln and game #2 vs Lincoln. In Game 1, Pulaski ran, turned the ball over, and failed to get back and build a wall defensively and Lincoln had a hay-day shooting the ball that night. If they can control the tempo, I think everyone else is right in saying "It's March and anything can happen."

RUN IT BACK! In a year we all felt (myself included) there was a ton of parody in the 12th region, conceding it was up in the air and that we could see some new faces playing for the title; it comes down to Lincoln and Pulaski again, the sequel. A year ago, Lincoln won the region championship on a buzzer beater from current Lincoln County senior athlete Colton Ralston (a junior then). There's no doubt Pulaski has long awaited a chance to get them back, especially after Lincoln County embarrassed them earlier this season. Well, they have the chance, can they pay Lincoln back and win the region tomorrow night on Lincoln's floor? Who ya got?

Absolutely. I know he is a baseball first kid, but he is a great athlete and a solid basketball player. I really saw it when they played Lincoln the first time and he had 26 points. If he steps up, even without Quisenberry, they will have a chance tonight.

Yeah, that's a tough development because if true, that really hurts Boyle on the offensive side of the ball. Tarter is good, but for him to shoulder the majority of the scoring would be a win for McCreary.
