He's a phenomenal kid, you can't fault his family for decisions that were made; but with all that said, Boyle didn't create this player. This player was created through another county, camps he attended, and a work ethic which has always been through the roof. Boyle just has the luxury of giving him the big stage. Much like they're doing with several other of their big names who arrived under similar circumstances.

There was a report put out by Kentucky Prep Report that Lincoln County has had a player transfer in named Luol Deng Dutt. A 2026 6,11" player; can anyone confirm or affirm how reputable this is? If true, and the player is eligible, this could make the 45th district even more interesting!

Fugate to DCA isn't a done deal, heavily rumored though from what I understand at least.

Hate it for Ed McKinney but can't say I blame him at all. Every contributing player from last season got poached from his roster.

Especially with DCA and Boyle coming across the fortune of the transfer portal. No disrespect, just the truth. And of course, the powerhouse that has been Lincoln County.

Hearing two interviews going on today and that Kasey McRay is the leader in the clubhouse. We will see what the final call is very soon, I believe!

Heard this a few days ago. Not a ton of experience but I do believe this has the potential to be a good hire! Best of luck at LC, it's been tough lately. It will definitely need a culture change!l and I hope Coach Parson can do it.

Lincoln girls job has been taken. You can see my post thread in the other forum. I believe Garrard plans to hire a coach by the time school let's out. Interviews started at the beginning of the week. Hearing 3 well qualified candidates. Evidently around 10 total applicants.

Hearing it has been confirmed that one of the Hall twins (former players for the LC girls program, Campbellsville University stand-outs) has been hired in this position. They weren't on our radars but I believe this will be a good hire. They served as assistants for the Somerset Lady Jumpers over the past few years under former head coach Cassandra McWhorter. Great young ladies! Lincoln went the young route (the Twins are 25 or 26).

I'm still hearing the person I eluded to who was out of state is the frontrunner. Things have certainly gone quiet, not very many rumors past that one. Very quiet over the past week.

Yes, they have been in the system before. knowing one of them very closely, I would be surprised if they took it. We will see, I've heard quite a few names but still not hearing much in the way of interviews.
