Green Co., North Hardin, and Taylor Co. in the same half of bracket. Could be some fireworks in that Green/Taylor opener. Possibly one of the best first round region games statewide.
Final in overtime. Cardinals fought back from double digit first half deficit and hit big three pointer at end of regulation to send to OT. Isaiah Cochran's three with 6.3 seconds turned out to be the difference. Layup at the buzzer for GRC rolled off.I was not implying anything more than what it appeared. A game scheduled for Monday was cancelled on the Friday before, because of sickness. That happens every season to a lot of teams. No big deal at all. But, when that team turns around and plays the next day (Saturday) and the day after (Tuesday) the scheduled game it just seems odd. If they overscheduled that should have been taken care of preseason. Its no skin off my back, was just looking forward to seeing a good ballgame early in the season.Still amazing to me that DCA cancelled game with Adair (game was scheduled for Monday) because of "sickness". BUT was able to play the very next afternoon (Saturday) vs. North Hardin and the day following the cancelled game (Tuesday).Indians pick up 20th District and 2A sectional win at Taylor Co. tonight. Helmet in your profile picture. Some may have said the same thing about long term success with the Rebels back in the day. All it takes is the right coach, in the right situation, and "Jimmy's and Joes" to start building that foundation. Boyle Co. should be the target of every school, in my opinion.
