Love the interview with PT Coach Thompson. Love how he said exactly what I said that western ky schools are disrespected and overlooked.

If you know anything about PT you know they are basically (PTJMHS) Paducah Tilghman James Marine High School. If you know you know. Trust me. They will have the best of the best. Jack “James”. “James” Marine company basically sponsors Paducah. Great company to work for in the purchase area by the way.

Their 8 grade wideout has an offer from I’m also. PTHS head coaches son. He’s like 6’4

It’s all good. I just wanted it to be understood that a lot of these kids didn’t have that option because they come from single parent homes with several siblings. It’s college or get a full time job for these kids when they graduate. None of them complain. They just do what men do.

Not to get too personal but a lot of the kids here didn’t have the luxury of staying back to play high school ball when you have families that need the extra income. A lot of these families are depending on these 18 year old boys to get out and make something of themselves to help out their families. Football is just an extra bonus around here.

Definitely not lame if you barely had any kids that stayed back a year.

Mayfield maybe had 2 the year that BW destroyed us. Everyone else wanted to graduate on time and start college.

I think this BW team is better than LCA. Their passing game is as smooth as it comes. Their qb looks athletic and he moves his feet really well in the pocket. The receivers run really good routes also. They don’t look as big as they did past couple years but they are legit. I can see where mayfield can have trouble with them and where they can slow them down. Holding them to a low lopsided score is something I can’t see happening. Unless BW makes mistakes. I love their offense. That offense is a WR’s dream offense to play in, as pass heavy as they are. Can’t wait for Friday night.

They’re actually a lot of fans that do if they know there’s a possible chance they have to play them in the playoffs. I remember an early part of the season hearing PT head coach tell another coach that he’s been watch the CC, Corbin, and Boyle. He was saying 4A was top heavy and he figured PT would play one of those 3 in the playoffs. I know some of the coaches travel to games on bye weeks to watch the good teams in their class play.

The mayfield win over LCA should tell you something about high school football in general. The sample size that fans from the eastern/northern ky schools see from far west teams, is always better than what they think it is. PT is for real. Carter is a nightmare if he gets the ball in open space. They are really good this year. I think East teams don’t see enough of west teams to understand it until they play them. I honestly think the CC fans are underestimating PT based off a sample size. When you watch their games on YouTube, look at what they do well first. They’ve only got better at it this season. Look at what they done not so great over the season and they completely change that for the better. They are WAY better than the sample size you guys are seeing from YouTube.

I’m don’t know how to think about this game. There are things BW does really well that we’ve struggled defending throughout the season. That’s what worried me about LCA. Mayfield has had moments against teams that they should have beat handily and gave up scores from bad tackling or miss assignments. If the mayfield team that played last Friday night shows up, I’ll feel good about this game. I’m picking mayfield of course but I’m still worried.

You’re absolutely right. I’m Mayfield fan first but after the MAY/PT game, I’m always rooting for the western KY teams.
