  1. @ColonelMikeare you sure kick off is at 7:30 with it being senior night?
  2. MC played a great game. I was very impressed with their DLine. OC was out coached and out played. Good job MC
  3. @thegurunext time come out we may have a packed house tonight! You can come to the tailgating events!
  4. I am not a big fan of rankings at the high school level. I believe it is biased depending on the voter (except for BGP). For example the guy at the courier journal Frakes, he voted for OC last week but he might of been the only one because he covers them and OC hasn’t really played anyone outside of Louisville except Simon Kenton. To be completely honest I don’t know who all has a vote so I could just be making stuff up LOL. On to more important things. I really want to see how OC comes out. Are they looking forward to the Bryan Station game or are they mature enough to make sure they handle business this week. They shouldn’t be looking past this game after everything I have read MC is a solid team. The talk around here from the beginning of the season was Bryan Station though. OC had a solid running game last week with Young and Sheppard both over 130 yards. The defense made adjustments and shut out Eastern the second half. Can MC contain Young and if they do can The sophomore Sheppard put the running game on his back. MC will have a lot to try to stop with the receiving core of OC. I really wish I had all the stats. When @ColonelMike post he will have all the stats for us. Sophomore Justin Ruffin, Seniors Jacob Davis and Wes Alexander along with Junior Jax Elkins all have big play potential and have multiple touchdowns. Defensively OC is very aggressive and will give up points.
  5. I looked on KHSAA And cannot find stats for Madison Central. Just like you won’t find Oldham County on there for some reason. How is Madison Central’s run defense? This is a very intriguing game. Do we really know how good either school is?
  6. @ColonelMikeglad you are great! thank you for the in depth look here. You now have me worried! LOL
  7. I was waiting for @ColonelMike to post on this match up. He has been quiet I hope he is OK. For being such a big game, there is not a whole Lotta chatter going on. I believe South Oldham has won this game Ten years straight. I’m just gonna get right to the point and give you what I think will be OC’s keys to victory: Defensively OC needs to Shut down off tackle plays and push them to the outside and keep their wing back’s running east and west. I would not be surprised if the dragons come out and run some sort of trick play on their opening drive. offensively you need to win the battle up front of course, allow sophomore running back Caden Sheppard to wear down south’s d-line and linebackers, Which should allow the passing game to open up and for senior quarterback Sam Young to use his legs and keep the defense off balance. I expect sophomore slot Justin Ruffin senior wide receiver Jacob Davis to have big games. If this was not a rivalry game I would say 49-7 OC But since it is a rivalry game 28-21 OC
  8. FC SCORES extra point blocked 39-13 OC 48 secs left in the game
  9. 10 yard touchdown run by Sam Young 39-7 OC 3:46 left in the game
  10. Alexander scoop and score for 75 yards for OC 32-7 OC 2:40 left in the 3rd
  11. QB sneak by Young touchdown 2 pt conversion no good 25-7 OC 4:43 left in the third
  12. 68 yard pass from Young to Davis for a Touchdown! extra point no good 19-7 OC
