The Colonels, take a trip to Louisville to face fellow undefeated Fern Creek in what should be an exciting early season show down. I’m really excited to see this game. It should answer a lot of questions I think for both teams, especially OC. I could see this game go both ways, hoping for a Colonel win though. 

I'll go with OC. Fern Creek wasn't impressive in its win over Henry Clay.

Oldham offense started to click a bit in the win over Shelby, who admittedly is not currently a match for the Colonels.    Young is probably one of the best QBs Fern Creek will see all season - and one of the "slipperiest".    I was relatively impressed with the Colonel receivers, who seemed pretty sure-handed versus Shelby.   Running game has a nice combination of power (Shepherd) and speed (Gilchrist).

I haven't seen Fern Creek, but the Tigers seem to always have speed to burn.    They just keep producing a bunch of burners every year it seems.    This will be interesting when FC has the ball; Oldham's new approach to the defensive side of the ball - a very aggressive approach,  based somewhat on the old Redman-Male defenses - is a feast or famine approach.   Will the Tigers be able to burn the Colonels with some big plays?    

I like Oldham in this one; I'm going with the Colonels, 28-14.

I’ll be interested in this game for sure as BE plays both teams the back 1/2 of the year.
