As of this morning, SK at Cooper hasn't been rescheduled. Worth noting, in the short amount of the season that remains, Cooper already has GRC, Campbell County, Holy Cross, and Assumption on the schedule -- 4 of the, arguably, top 10-12 teams in KY, so they certainly have plenty of tests remaining.

Ryle at Highlands has been rescheduled for February 4th.

The girls' Game of the Year, Simon Kenton at Cooper, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 28th. Don't drive out there tonight, but definitely DO drive out there tomorrow night!

Well, most importantly, I hope this finds everyone safe and warm after the intense snowfall that fell throughout the state yesterday. The bone-chilling cold won't make cleaning off the roads easy, but hopefully we only see minor disruptions this week to what is one of the best schedules of the year. We have the NKY Game of the Year on Tuesday, Mother Nature willing, as #1 Simon Kenton travels to Union to play #2 Cooper! That will be amazing and worth the drive out Camp Ernst or Longbranch Roads. Highlands has a particularly interesting week playing 4 of the other top 10 in one week, which may be the first time that has happened since I've been doing this several years ago. Then, barring a massive Sunrise Upset in Owensboro on Sunday, we'll see Holy Cross and Brossart battle for the All A Classic State Championship (their first of two scheduled meetings). Wow!!!! Russell lost at home to Holy Cross by 9 but knocks off the Camels! Congrats to Russell, that is a very good win.

Final from Hoosier Gym. Having seen both of these teams several times, I'm a little surprised by this one. I am a huge fan of Coach Steiner, but I thought St. Henry would have enough depth and offensive options to get this one. Clearly, 40 points, that didn't come to fruition.

Camels with a monster win on the road in Ashland. Really impressive roadie, these Camels will be a problem down the stretch. Not sure they can get past GRC in the 10th, but I could see them riding a 15 game winning streak when they face (at) Cooper in a couple of weeks. Don't miss that one!

All A quarterfinal! Went out on a limb predicting LCA to get this one and they proved me correct, love it! LCA will get Holy Cross next Sunday morning (2/1) in the second semifinal.

Thought it would be a little closer, but man, Coach Stamm has the Lady 'Stangs playing so well!

Okay, 1-0 in my predictions certain to go wrong! Nice job, O'Cath!! They'll play bright and early next Sunday, February 1st, in the semis vs Brossart.

Final from Edgewood. Honestly, this is incredibly impressive by Dixie, both the margin, and getting 60 on the Valkyries. Maybe Dixie is finding something for the back half of the season (and the 9th Region Tourney).

The semifinals and finals for boys and girls have been moved to February 1st.

If this has happened all over the state, I have certainly missed it. If you describe what they did as "supporting the team", we define a lot of those things very differently. Which is fine, it takes all kinds. I think they could have taught a message, that actions have consequences, but instead they went with "find loopholes". All good, not the end of the world, but not for me.

Apologies, Holy Cross also sits east of I-75, so our two NKY schools are the only ones remaining from east of our major North / South interstate.

Only Bishop Brossart remains in the field from East of I-75, since I believe LCA's main campus sits west of the interstate. #Nugget
