Yes the schedule will be better suited for them this year. Paris, Campbell, Pendleton still on. I think they will reach double digit wins this year. St Pat is on there twice as well.

Refresh my memory on those? Mason County didn’t beat a team who had more than 4 wins, and couple of them had 0 wins. Bracken and Mason both had mostly weak out of district schedule. I’m not saying Bracken would win, but this game would be competitive enough to where it would be worth paying.

I think 3 would work best, seperate by football classes. Ex: 1and2A 3and4A, 5and6A.

Explain? Mason County played Rowan County, Morgan County, and North Adams, OH that’s not even a member of the OhioHSAA. I know Bracken County is better than all those teams.

I think Bracken/Lewis would also be a good game. Fleming I don’t know. Bracken beat Mason in middle school football this year. Defineltly not saying Bracken would win in the future because of that, but that it would be a pretty good game. Correction: it might have been JV

Should Bracken and Mason start playing or at least scrimmaging in football? I think the last two years Bracken County would have given them all they wanted and had a good chance to get a win. Even though Mason County is twice the size of Bracken, would these games be worth playing?

Or have the KHSAA sponsor/acknowledge it. Even then, only 4 schools from enrollment 2A-4A (400-1000) are in this years sweet 16

The media and officials find a way to do it in 48 other states and other sports in Kentucky. That’s just an excuse, the KHSAA is just lazy.

This isn’t really even an All A issue. TEN schools have more kids in there high schools than All A schools have in there entire school district, 1000+. I mean good lord McCraken County has 2,100 kids in their school, St Xaiver has 1,300 of just Boys. That’s like asking Asbury to go beat Kentucky. 1A, 2A, and 3A schools are struggling. And that sad part is those schools bigger schools bring absolutely no fans. Whitaker Bank was ghost town almost when I went. This isn’t the coveted Basketball sweet sixteen, you don’t have to worry about attendance dropping because of classes, because the attendance already sucks. L

Yes. But when 10 of your schools have 1,000 kids in it, something needs to change. A small school in a good year is still almost never good enough to beat a big school in a bad year.

I think 4 classes was too many. Either do 2 or 3.

And only two schools with an enrollment below 800.

The referees are usually the way Bluegrass Official Association (10/11) trains their refs. No reason to complain about the officials.
