  1. Submitting your defense or any other schemes before you get to know your team isn't a good idea. You have to coach to the talent you have and you have to adjust to the opponent each game.
  2. But FTJFL 7th and 8th graders are playing in the league that requires kids to be in school district
  3. Will all of the rising 7th graders have a place to play if there is no SR division? What about the kids from Newport, Bellevue, Dayton? Or the kids that will eventually go to NewCath or Brossart?
  4. Has the 2018 schedule been released? If not, when can we expect to see it?
  5. Is it true that there will not be an NKYFL Senior division in 2018?
  6. Just heard that Highlands 6th beat Campbell on a 25ft buzzer beater
  7. The tournaments will be played Feb 5-8th: 6th Grade at Woodland 7th Grade at Grant County 8th Grade at Summit View All of the championship games will be played Feb 10th at Ockerman.
  8. As we head into the second half of the season, who are the two or three favorites at each grade level to win the championship?
  9. What's coming up in the current 8th and 7th grade classes?
  10. 8th grade is different this year because of the boys that have been moved up... know that Woodland, Ockerman, and Highlands are working hard to figure out how to play without some key players from past years
  11. That's great! The current Jr, So, and Fr classes are strong. I look forward to watching what coach BW and others can do with these boys.
  12. The 2016 and 2017 Birds teams got pushed around up front and missed more tackles than any Highlands team that I've seen. Should that be attributed to a lack of talent or poor coaching or a combination of both?
  13. 8th grade is wide open this year. There are a handful of teams that could win it. In no particular order, I would say that Turkeyfoot, Beechwood, Campbell County, Camp Ernst, and Highlands all have a shot to win.
