There is a lot of talent on this team. Most of them are still young but have had significant varsity playing time. Nothing replaces experience on the field. The schedule looks challenging. Every team the Jags face are legit. The only limit the Jags have, are the limits they put on themselves. Season starts now.

This should be a good game. I think both teams match up well. Yes Conner has a better record but we need to look at the strength of schedule. Conner had a nice win over Ryle last week. I hope the rain clears out before kick off and we can see what we have in western Boone County.

This game was really won/lost in the trenches. The line of scrimmage belonged to Cooper the entire second half - both sides of the ball. There is work to do but definitely have progressed since last Friday.

I can't predict the outcome of this game. What I do know is this is why we play the game. Earlier in the thread it was mentioned about both programs are on the "up swing." Totally true. What is also true is that Cooper is still very young. This group will have more years playing together even after this season. I look forward to Friday night's battle.

Still a young team, but a better team. They have some talented skills players as well as some big guys up front on OL / DL. This year should be an improvement over last but watch out for the future.

Cooper has several Juniors that are very talented. They should be fun to watch. Varsity and JV teams should be strong. Deep on the mound, and in the field. New direction, lets see this play out.

This Cooper team is very young. However, we are starting to see what the future holds. Many juniors, sophomores, and yes freshman. Lee is a player and is improving every week. His competitiveness and fire are hopefully contagious. The truth is there are about 4 other freshman that have the fire as well. They will be a great addition to this squad. There is work to be done. Time will fix youth, players need to bring the fire and coaching brings the plan. In two years Cooper will be a force in NKY and possibly beyond.
