With the history of Childress and Hadley with foreign exchange students, I would say the kid is a game changer. They haven't had one that wasn't a game changer before.

Wouldn't think it would be the same kid. Foreign Exchange is a one year deal and they are only allowed in the states for 9 months at a time.

I like LaRue spot better than any of the other top teams in the region. LaRue has the easiest district and barring injury is almost guaranteed a district winner. The 17th is always tough and on any given night any of the four could beat the other. With no seed in the 20th this season there is a 33% chance that Taylor and Adair play first game of district. Nobody is talking about Bardstown. Are we crazy to not be talking about Boo Brewer right now?

Childress and assistant coach Hadley have the connections over seas no doubt. LaRue had the Timba kid who was foreign exchange back in the early 2000s (believe name was Timba). Childress had Siakam at Caverna, Hadley the assistant had multiple foreign exchange at Louisville Western during same time as Siakam with Childress at Caverna. It was rumored that LaRue was getting a foreign exchange during the Kelton Ford days but didn't. Childress has had success with foreign exchange in the past and the Hawks do develop their big guys. If Bronco is as good as the Embree kid from Alabama was last season for them they will be right back in that region final four if not further.

Have to be referring to Malik Wright. Anthony Witherspoon is good but not player of the year in region caliber. How does Malik Wright compare over all to past John Hardin players? Brandon Price, Matt Miller and Devontae Guilleroy. Who is the rumored transfer to LaRue County this season? Had heard possible departures from there with Adkins, Belton and King but hadn't heard of newcomers.

Where did roger go, back to Florida? If that is the case I look for North to be 4th in the 17th district. I think Marion County is under valued in the rankings at the top. I see Marion better going into the season that North Hardin and Washington County.

John Shoulders is the kid at Hart County. He is playing football for Hart County. I don't look for him to transfer to Taylor County. LaRue County haven't heard of a transfer there but wouldn't surprise, they get a lot of transfers in there a lot. Kyle Sheridan, Kelton Ford, M.J. Embree, both Goode boys. I like Central Hardin to be better than expected and North Hardin will be very good if Roger MacFarlane returns for the Trojans making the 17th district a tough task for anyone.

Was head coach at christian county before, had been assistant last two years at the Berg. Not sure if homerun hire for the Berg but he for sure got a homerun job, I expect him to make state multiple times in his career

Your research is way off. The school opened in 2009/2010 wasn't even open in 2002. Watford was head coach at The Berg three seasons and won 20,22 and 24 games. Biggest mistake The Berg made was not hiring Steve Sparks and 2nd biggest was getting rid of Warford. Went down hill when he left, when you got studs in the stable you have to let them run.

Its not about what school produces the most division one players. You have to look at the district your in and the path to get to the region. School population, basketball community or not? School population in relation to others in your district. Regional foes? Budget at school, money at school, coaches pay, facilities, complete control of program all way down. WIth that said The Berg is easily a top 25 job and it not close.

Just 3-4-5 years ago, he moved to the Berg from Texas , Warford family. Ended up at Peay think somewhere before. Patrick Sparks last local I believe.

Only one I have seen mentioned I left out was lexington catholic And the 25 listed doesn't mean all better than the Berg . A lot of the jobs you all listed like waggener for example that job sucked till the coach have now got there. As I stated some jobs are based on coach. Bringing kids in The Berg had constant local talent regardless who there we have been winning big since 1990 between Muhlenberg and former north most dominant program in 3rd over last 25 years
