WV only lost two seniors out of the starting five. They return Miles, Clinkenbeard, Lay, Pardee, Jones, Grubbs and Shazier, plus they have two more on jv that were only sophomores this year and they didn't get to play a lot of varsity this year, but should contribute next year.

Great game by both teams. WV Lay played great game along with Clinkenbeard and Jones. Miles control the middle on defense for most of the game.

I believe Walton is 2-1 now with their only loss to SK.

Walton-Verona is going be tough also out of the 8th region. They have a nice young team with good coaching Grant Brannen who used to coach at NCC when they were winning the All A back in the day.

6-8 Miles for Walton-Verona, he's only a sophomore and plays great defense. His offensive game has vastly improved from over the summer.
