No sounding board and no dishonor intended. I don't get excited because we beat Nicholas, Pendelton and West Carter. Those are for sure given wins. Newport can't be a measuring stick as to how great we are. Take away the cupcake wins and what is our record. You guys get excited on any win and when we lose you say good game and were improving and our sophomores are coming along.... I know some are die hard GRC fans and you guys are the ones who can't take constructive criticism. If players read my post it should motivate them to prove they can play and team worthy of praise. Chew on this one for awhile....I be back with more.

I speak it how I see it. Not always right but I watch a lot of basketball.

Paris easy win by double digits. Paris is to athletic for our guards and young team. I look for James and Jenkins to have a good game for GRC. Andersen will have to work on both ends, Menchen and our youngsters won't be a factor. Will be a very aggressive game and one we will be out of real fast.

Y It's all constructive and honest. I know basketball bottom line.

If Mullins played GRC gets the lose....hands down

Coaches scout teams and they know you take Andersen or Menchen out the scoring column then we lose. Look at he stats people and you will see.

Paris will be ready and like to watch to see what Davis does to our guards on defense, Bourbon is better than most think, Madison Southern will play a well scouted game and take away what we do and Scott will get out coached, Harrison is 50/50, Montgomery we could win if we rattle them with Defense but if they got all 6 going we are in trouble and Dixie we will win with them losing James to transfer to Mercer.

You take the scoring away from 1 of these kids Jyles or Jordan and they lose every game like I said. The bigs can score all they want but you know it's not gonna be like that game in and out. Let's watch and see how we pair up with Paris. Be nice to see how Davis does against his old team.

good test for Montgomery and as you can see 28 3s is way to many to win any game if your not hitting. Good 3 quarter so they can build on that.

Glad they got a Win also because the next 6 games are No contest and for sure loses. Glad Jenkins is better and able to score. Looks like the Super Sophs are gonna be out of playing time with him putting up numbers. Go GRC

No negativity here. True facts and knowledge of the game. I played at the higher level D1 and I'm from the old era of GRC and it's amazing how it's gone down. The sophomore class is so good in people's eyes but can't score in a varsity game. Either they can't play or the coach got brakes on them.

Same thing every year. But ok.....the program is down to low now. Last year could have been big if he used what talent he had. Coach has to change his system and adjust to players. His way isn't winning and outdated.

Well if you want to win someone has to step up and basketball is a 5 man sport and all involved.....if you got talent and can score then a coach would see it. 5pts and 50% some games won't win. For years now we hear this is the year, this team has talent and for some reason it never comes to light. Just watch and you will see or keep convincing yourself of nothing.

The sophomores had a chance to prove last night they can score but didn't. Like I said take 1 of the 3 out the books and nobody fills the gap.....time for a change.

I agree and a coach has to adjust to his talent rather them adjust to his to get the wins. I enjoyed watching him coach.

Athletes find a way to score. This team can't find the bucket other than the 3 seniors. Tired of hearing how the sophomores will develope over the years. We playing ball now so step up.

Again like I said you take 1 of the top 3 scorers and nobody can fill the gap. Sophomores or not it's still basketball and someone has to score. By now one of the youngsters should have been able to show some hope. Just saying we talking about this year not years to grow.

I have seen Mercer play early season and this week and believe they will be in for a battle. They never been tested until last night.Montgomery Co has played well the last two weeks and been tested and seem to be coming along good. If Montgomery is shooting the way they have been then Mercer is in the same situation as last night. Up-Tempo play can benefit both teams. Gonna be a good game or at least hope so.

TexasRanger your right about Jones making the impact, but I can't say GRC is better off without him like Bluechipper14 believes. I guess overall both programs win....In his mind.

GRC is warming up for a 12 if that many wins season.

For the talent they have on that team one of the bigger tournaments would have been great exposure and some good testing. They are a fun team to watch.
