This is not correct. Game was 5 - 5 tie.

17 of the 23 players on McCracken varsity roster have scored at least one goal, including GK. One of few that hasnt, was leading goal scorer last year who has not played due to injury. So in reality, 17 of 22. Sharing is caring!

Boys left Paducah at 530 am. Played Lafayette at 11 EST to a 1-0 win. Played Mercer at 5pm, won 2-1. All 3 goals scored by Carlos Flowers. Mercer goal was first goal allowed in 7 games for GK Trevor Massa and strong back line. ETA back to Paducah 10;30 cst. A long day but worth it to get in some good games after Purples Classic rained out

3 - 0. One game was much weaker district team but other two were expected to be closer. 16 Goals scored vs 1 allowed. And that goal was on out freshman keeper getting experience minutes. Hope we can keep it up next week.

Murray hosts McCracken. Although in the same region we didnt play last year. Should be an interesting game Saturday morning. What about in your area??

I think khsaa age is 19 for sports.

Henderson v BG seems like a good scrimmage. Any other interesting ones before season kicks off? McCracken travels to StL jamboree to face St. Dominic. Always challenging.

It actually does apply to soccer. There is khsaa rule for football and soccer.

Seems simple enough; however I read a article from Herald Leader re: Magnet schools, middle schools and where those kids play. Article didnt even mention the soccer/football grade rule...

.. or JV if the team they are playing has juniors. So if small school A has 7th grader on JV.. playing school B who had 11th grader on Jv...

Is there not still a khsaa rule.. for football and soccer.. prohibiting middle schoolers ..or at least probibiting them from playing against some one 11th grade or higher? There used to be but not sure currently .

Well I wasnt exactly pointing out that win but rather a payterm of competing ghe last 2 years. They used it as tryout, we played 5 freshman. My point .. which you illustratred by your win remark.. was to show that soccer doesn't stop at Owensboro and maybe teams from farther west can compete and shouldn't be counted as automatic wins by 3 or 4 goals.

3 hour delay.. but McCracken over St. Henry 2 -1. That makes the team from far Western Ky 6 - 0 the last two years in the A Division

Mccracken with 2 -1 wins over Collins and Madison Central. Both goals scored on our freshman keeper. Just giving him experience late in games.

True. And I understand if they are splitting a team evenly. Hoping for decent weather and competitive games!

I would think a team would want to push themselves to compete in higher division since it doesnt count for anything.
