I'd be very interested to hear some thoughts from posters on their Top 10, versus what Maher has (which we know is about last year, at this point). Collegiate will be down, right? Down past the top 10? Is Daviess #1 entering the season? Trinity? Is South Warren going to be THAT good this year?

Early season HS soccer rankings are just below a guess. Until these top 20 teams start playing each other and teams begin to settle into their set starters and rotations off the bench will the ranking have some meaning.

Heard Collegiate had no problem with Ryle in a scrimmage, are they down? St X, Ballard, N Oldham are a few rumoured to be good out of Louisville. This week's Colonel Cup will be a good early test for those 8 teams, who ever wins it will have earned it by beating 3 tough opponents.

As mentioned, these are just a guess at this point and without a good knowledge of what teams have in returning players it's hard to say. I believe Daviess graduated most of their scoring so I'd be hard pressed to put them at #1. My pick is St. X as they had a pretty young team last year in a tough region. Collegiate returns Haji Abdikadir (40 goals last year) and some other good young talent so they will be there as well. I'd put CCH in the top 10 but just barely at this point.

If he did graduate then he was listed incorrectly last year as he was shown as a junior. I just checked and he is not on their roster so either he was listed incorrectly or he has moved on to another school?

Same, seem to recall people mentioning he was going to UofL next year, meaning a UofL freshman this year.

 

I'm one that enjoys conversations, predictions, etc, agree it adds fun to the season, continue MTGL.

The aged out age in KY school is 20 yrs, 364 days old.

I should say this is the aged out age to attend school. To play a sport it may be younger.
