  1. How about you post yours and we'll post ours.
  2. Boone has a number of good players, great athletes and great kids from great families. They just haven't put it all together yet. Maybe they will have by the time they play you guys. In fact I'll be rooting for them after today!
  3. Nobody said Boone would lay down. They don't have the horsepower to stay with Ryle and hopefully the guys will put the game away early, get some players rested and give the subs some well deserved PT. Who cares what the score is as long as it's a W
  4. I liked them too. Field was great as well, all they need is lights!
  5. Anybody out there know what league they play in? If any.
  6. Aren't the Union teams a part of this league now? Any scores from the Raiders or Jags?
  7. Probably the same person that said the O line couldn't protect Tanner and that the defense had lost too many players to hang tough.
  8. Yes, Grant Beagle is still a Raider. Senior WR. Little brother Logan is at CovCath. Sophomore.
  9. Several returning linemen either started some games or saw significant varsity action. Namely Nick Yowan at guard, Jordan Colette at center, Chase, and Jacob Hiles at guard also. Don't have height and weights, haven't seen a roster.
  10. I would add Colin England and Tanner Morgan to players to watch list.
  11. I don't think anyone is starting both ways. Yes there are a number of kids that can play and play well at different positions. I look for one of the three ILBs to move to D line.
  12. Maybe, not sure if there's a lot of depth. Should become very good practicing against their own high octane offense all year.
  13. Appears to be Tanner Morgan.
  14. A lot of discussion about the offense, what are the thoughts on defense? Ryle lost Belk and Brownell at ends, Woolf at LB, Cleveland on the line, and a pretty physical Gavin Brandt at corner. Seems like a lot to overcome. I've been able to catch a couple of practices and I don't think that they'll struggle much, especially as the season progresses. They've moved John Meiman (3 year starter) to outside LB/DE. Tyler Selby, who was a great JV player last year and started at DE for Ryle's playoff games is at the other OLB/DE. D line is quick and talented although it lacks size. Backfield has great speed and covers well, it's a little surprising to see a sophomore apparently starting at CB but he's been a standout on freshman and middle school teams. Not completely sure who will be starting at ILB, right now looks like it'll be between House, Dematrakis and High. House started on DLine last year while Dematrakis and High played JV mostly last year but both saw some Friday night action. Looking forward to the Bryan Station scrimmage next week to see how we look against outside competition. Should be a fun team to watch.
  15. Many of the seniors were part of the original union raider team. Plus a couple of juniors.

  17. Pretty sure he's referring to the game with highlands.
  18. To answer an earlier question, most of the upcoming class of Ryle seniors were members of the inaugural group of Union Raiders. I think the chemistry that exists among these players and the camaraderie that is bred through the program is invaluable. These kids are now playing together as Raiders as early as second grade. Union also has a minimum playing time requirement for most of its teams to ensure that players are developed and enjoy some reward for the time they put in. Obviously I think middle school football is a huge benefit
  19. Ryle is hosting it's 7on7 tournament this weekend. Who's in?
