That's my thought process as well. Garrard County has quietly put together a very solid football program and Coach Perry seems to be elevating that program and culture already after one season. I would not sleep on Garrard County at all.

Hoop Dreams Black 15U went 0-3 at KY State AAU last weekend.

Garrard County will defeat Rockcastle County.

Bryce Slone will have a fine career at Boyle County and I expect him to end up as a 1K point scorer at Boyle County if he works his way into the starting lineup to begin the season. Boyle County will improve with each game and it will be interesting to see where they are at in February with a sea of new faces in the lineup next season.

Garrard County will beat Rockcastle County. No doubt in my mind.

I somewhat agree. I do think if the Landon Powell to Pulaski rumors are true then they'll be in the top tier and possibly better than Wayne County. I do also think there will be a drop off after the top 3-4 teams but those teams in the second tier will all be pretty good and some of the more non-traditional powers. I do think Mercer County and Southwestern will be the class of the region.

I think Garrard County will surprise some people. I could see them finishing first, second or third in the district. No worse than third. Without seeing their schedule it is possible that they could have three losses this season all at the hands of Boyle County and LexCath. If they defeat one or both of them it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Congratulations to Coach Kirk. I had the pleasure of meeting Coach Kirk while my son was a student at Burgin. He is a high quality teacher and a high quality coach. I am quite sure he will do just fine at Augusta and I wish him nothing but the best at Augusta.
