  1. This is my point. The entire philosophy was asinine. Couple that with a poor coaching ability and you have chaos.
  2. People's dedication tends to be maximized when there is some semblance of hope. The coaching staff could not muster it. The players quickly followed suit. It then permeated to the fan base. The Cov Cath cheering section leaving early against a rival is a reflection of the year at large. I bet it won't be happening this year. I know they don't leave early during a close basketball game.
  3. The actual "quiting" does fall 100% on the individual players that said it. The culture in which the kids felt the need to "quit" should be 100% blamed upon the loosely described "coaching staff." If I played for a bunch of know nothing's...I might contemplate my dedication as well. I'm pretty sure the "quiting" had nothing to do with playing/losing to beechwood. Sorry but it didn't!
  4. I think there will be quite a crowd for this game. I know I'm looking forward to it.
  5. My bad. I thought when I said, "damn you are good" established that you hit the nail on the head. My bad. I was just fooling around with the vagueness. I was really surprised when you answered it correctly. Sorry. It was all in good fun.
  6. Very nice. Hopefully the Colonels can build upon a good scrimmage and take the momentum into the season opener. Looking forward to it.
  7. Besides the fact that it is not a natural grass field?
  8. Then I would obviously be wrong and I stand corrected, but I don't see it.
  9. The fact that the fifty yard line does not continuously pass through the school logo (either a solid 4" line or a 4" shadow line) makes the field illegal.
  10. Also I was informed by a local hero/official extraordinaire that this rule is NEVER enforced.
  11. Hahaha. Now I know colonels-wear-blue and I'm no trying to besmirch him at all....but he was extremely "generous" when he said he has a 3" vertical. Just kidding buddy.
  12. What I posted is from the 2014 book. No way they changed the rule thus year. They never do.
  13. The field dimensions and configuration are listed in rule #1 of 10. This page explains a subsection of rule one (which details field markings) and clearly illustrates how cch's new field is in violation.
  14. Not the team box. The team box is correct on the field. The team is granted the space between the 25 yard lines.
  15. The markings on the field do not follow the rule book.
  16. 25-25 for the team box is correct. I don't think the kickoff location needs to be marked according to the rule book. You can kick the ball off anywhere between the hashes.
  17. After admiring the arial picture for quite some time, I finally noticed that the field is obviously illegal. Anyone else see a problem with the design and layout?
  18. I'm fairly certain that if we had that field when I was a senior, we would have been undefeated. Pretty much a fact!
  19. I'm sure he will....but man he looks like a tackle! (I just wish he would/could play both sports)
