I did not blame the loss on the referees I was just saying but everytime Simon Kenton plays at Scott they have to play 8 on 5. Tonight was about SK not being able to guard on defense, and protect the three point line. They showed very little defensive effort tonight and it caught up with them. But they have a day to sit down and see what happened the past 2 nights to figure it out.

The only thing I am going to say tonight is that SK was 7/11 for FT's Scott was 23/31 for FT's um evenly called game????? guess not But you know the thing about this game is that it doesn't effect the outcome for the Lady Pioneers!!!!this wasn't a regional game or district game. But SK was beat by the better team TONIGHT. SK had no defensive effort for 2 nights straight and it was going to come around and bite them and tonight was the night. But I will give credit where credit is due. Congrats on the Win Lady Eagles you fought hard!!!!

Tough loss for the pioneers. But it is hard when you play 8 on 5. Happens every time SK goes over to Scott. But on the other hand too you have to play defense. SK had not played defense over the past 2 nights.

You know what is cute is a softball coach that thinks he has any basketball knowledge whatsoever. anyways back to basketball.... Good ball pressure teams make you put it on the floor in the half court they are not just going to let you pass it over them. Holmes is going to smother whether you pass or dribble. How's that for your knowledge. Stick with what you know softball!!!

Highlands has to pass the ball because they can't dribble not to beat the press/ball pressure. Just watch when they play the Lady Dawgs. That little Pt. Guard is going to need a vacation after the game I'm calling Holmes by 12-15 they are so much better.

No one has tried to what? play hardcore defense? I am pretty sure that I can say I have seen a few teams put pressure on them, and they struggled handling the pressure

What are you talking about? What 7 ballhandlers do you have? There's not one player that can handle any pressure. You get maybe 2 dribbles out of Graves, maybe 3 from Adler then what? You put hardcore defense on them and they are done.

Sorry the parents wont have bragging rights on this since that is what it looks like to me especially for a couple guys. The fact of the matter is BOTH coaches agreed NOT to play for the safety of the kids ( remember them). Their is NOT going to be a game at this time get over it.

Apparently you haven't been to many games where recruiters and college coaches are in attendance, all colleges get out to see the talent in the area, I've seen Coaches from NKU, XAVIER,UC,UK. Heck, I saw the head women's coach from Notre Dame at a Pre-season game. If you ever been to the Lexington Catholic tournament during Christmas break College Coaches from all over the US are there to recruit. Yes, AAU is where they like to go watch games because those are the games that don't mess with their in season duties. But if you don't think that school ball is not the pipeline to the next level pretty sure I would like to smoke whatever your on cause it must be some good stuff. These kids are STUDENT-athletes coaches want to know they can perform in the class room well while dealing with the stress of playing basketball. What good is an athlete if they can't play due to academics?

If I am thinking of the player that you are thinking of she left SK to go to perform for another sport other than basketball. Basketball was not her primary sport

Just a thought here, Take a look at the overall program over the last few years, If you look SK's Program has been good over the past 5 or 6 years, Some of the other teams are just a 1 year wonder.

Coach Stowers called the middle school to get in contact with Holmes Coach in which the Principal of the middle school gave Coach Stowers all the contact information for Holmes Coach. That in which I have heard that Coach Stowers left multiple voice messages on his cell phone and not one was answered back to him.

So that still don't mean that mean that he can't answer his cell phone. I do believe that Mr./Ms. Uponatime said messages were left on his cell phone too. Sounds like Coach Showers made multiple attempts and different routes to get the guy to answer a phone call.
