Good game. Boyle has a good team and two great players that couldn't be stopped tonight. Nice season for Lincoln.

I felt the game went they way both teams wanted to go, fast! I was really impressed with Bell's tenacity in the 4th quarter. He drove to the basket midway through the 4th, missed his shot but overpowered everyone to earn a trip to the line. Just one play that really sticks out, I felt he played harder in the fourth than I had seen him play in the previous 7-8 times I have seen Boyle play. He had some really good defensive possessions on Blevins and Stearns in the 4th as well, forcing them to take jumpers and contesting them really well. Bell also has been making his free throws at a high rate, which is important as a point guard in late games. But, I feel the rock of Boyle is Tyler, he was just great offensively. He was able to get anything he wanted and also shot a nice percentage as well. Fun game to watch.

With a healthy Stearns, Wayne by 7. Waybe has a will to win. I don't think they have to shoot a high average from three to win, because they shoot so many they will make enough to win. Wayne showed they can play without Stearns and without Woods for about half of a quarter againt West Jessamine. Boyle isn't playing that great, in my opinion, but I expect them to bring it tonight against the two-time defending regional winners. Regardless of who wins, this will be fun to watch.

Those kids can flat out play. They are a fun group to watch.

It is interesting that, because of the snow mostly, the only 1st round match-ups that played each other during the regular season is Wayne/West. Maybe some mad scrambling for game film this week. I fill that since Lincoln is at home and they received a better draw, it is there's to lose. But I will not be surprised if its another team is crowned as champs. I personally think that Pulaski has the toughest road ahead, Boyle and than they would get either Wayne or West just to make it to the finals. But I do believe that Pulaski is playing better right now than they have all season so Boyle will have to play well to advance. I am intrigued by the Mercer/Southwestern matchups but I think SWHS is capable of winning at least one big game, they have beat some pretty good teams this year in KCC, Hoptown, and Wayne early on. I just don't seem them coming together to win 3 big games. Wayne County is hot, as you all stated, but I have a difficult believing that they stay out of foul trouble in this tournament. They simply don't have the bench to win a if a starter goes out. Monday night will be a ton of fun and a lot of excitement. I think we will see a rematch of the 45th, Lincoln and Boyle on Tuesday night.

Pulaski has been playing well but Casey had a great game defensively last night. If Casey can control the glass like they did in the second half against Somerset, I pick Casey. I don't think they hit one three last night, can anyone confirm that?

I like Mercer wins but it will be really close. I like how West plays though.

Both teams should be hyped. I predict a fast start by Boyle and Lincoln playing behind most of the game. It will probably be close in the fourth but I expect Boyle to win by 8-12 (but I'd say if they rematch in the finals of the region, lincoln wins on their court). I say this predicting Tyler to have a good game. Bell needs to help Tyler get his open looks for Boyle to win.

I'm remembering maybe mid 90's KSD won the 4/5 at Lincoln Co but lost in the semifinals. Anyone clarify that?

How about KSD in the late 90's, with Patrick Harris. Didn't they win the 4/5 game and make it to the region? Maybe 1998?

Anyone heard of any games being made up? Boyle/wayne? Lincoln/catholic? I'm assuming they won't be made up but I thought I would ask.
