Truth be told, they aren't playing to impress you. They aren't even playing to impress their parents even though some of our boys had parents who played college athletics in many different sports - some of those parents played D1. Our boys are playing for the competition gained from playing against other athletes. Your time, my time, and all of us who have graduated from high school have had our time. Let them have their time without your distractions! PLEASE!

It is a great shame and a dishonor to the Cardinals that individuals use this forum as a sounding board to tear down GRC Basketball!

Once again, I strongly disagree. He has changed his defensive scheme to fit around his players. The offensive sets are much different than last year's sets. The sets work. The players just need to connect. There is no looking back. Forward the Cards go.

Looking at the stats you can clearly see that sophomores such as Cooper and Taylor are shooting near 50% from the field. The Cards made 1 three pointer against a very tough Ashland defense. Can't win too many games shooting less than 10% from behind the arc. The main difference in the game was Christian Villers who scored 37 last night. Coach Humphrey said that this would be a work-in-process especially early in the season. He also said on his radio show that the team would practice while in Ashland almost treating this time as a camp. Don't read too much into the 4-6 record. Good things are just around the corner.

Once again, I strongly disagree. There are many sophomores on this team who are capable of scoring double digits. In very limited action last night, PJ Williams came off of the bench and scored 5 points. Ryan Cooper, Houston Goodman, JJ Johnson, Will Philpot, and Chase Taylor are all capable of scoring double digits. I am excited about the remaining 2015-2016 season as well as the next 2 seasons as these sophomores mature.

I strongly disagree. The Cards are just now getting everybody in the lineup and a few are still working to get 100% healthy. The Cards are 4-5, but could just as easily be 7-2 or 8-1. We will discover the true grit of this team tonight against Ashland. Tough to win at Paul Blazer against the tournament host.
