They still have to go through Paintsville, Shelby Valley and Pikeville in the All-A just to win their region. They have not defeated any of these teams in the past three seasons and have rarely been competitive against them. This summer (albeit summer) Martin County was down 30 points at halftime to Pikeville and that is the team they open the All-A with (Martin County had its full roster plus Jesse Muncy who transferred back to Tolsia, WV in that game - did not have Dingess who transferred back from Paintsville). I would look at the above three as your favorites in the All-A with Martin County perhaps being the best dark horse in the field.

Johnson Central 28 Capital (WV) 13

Final stats (unofficial) had JC holding Capital to 59 total yards of offense. Capital scored on their second drive of game and again off a punt return TD. Other than that, it was pretty much negative yardage the rest of the contest. JC did an excellent job on Capital's receiving core. On another note, I thought Capital's #12 played a great game at the LB position. Kid was everywhere. -

Should be a great game and I always look forward to seeing Capitals award winning marching band. This will also be the first game in the new stadium for Capital as they move from the University of Charleston's field. There will be a large crowd there to crescent the new turf and there is already alot of hype surrounding the game from the locals!
