No injury or card. Just the coach deciding to play the backup keeper in a must win game. I understand if they lose that game and are out of moving onto the semi finals playing the backup tomorrow. Good Luck to both teams tomorrow.

Tophat is a very good team! I for one was surprised to see the backup goalie playing for KHA. Especially after the coach was quoted in the paper as saying everyone plays half the game in showcases to get exposure but when your playing in NL games or the National Championships you play your best players. Scratching my head at that one. Might not have changed the outcome but if your only down 1-0 at half instead of 3-0 its a different game..

Not a good day for the 16s. Lost 5-0

16's lost to La Roca UT 2-0 also. Watched the 17s game online. Not much happened on the offensive side. Not many chances to score. Heard 16s had lots of chances to score but couldn't finish. Good Luck to both tomorrow!

How bout a positive thread instead of all this HHS coach/player talk? Its really depressing.. Good Luck KHA U16 girls as they begin pool play tomorrow morning vs La Roca, UT in Tulsa, OK! 9 girls from this team play in NKY. I believe there's more NKY girls on the U17 KHA team there also. Wish them the best of luck as well. The U17 girls have 2 games being shown live and the U16 girls have one game being shown live on Wed morning 830am eastern. There's a link to watch them on National Leagues website.

JJD- U are correct. The Raider stickers were 89'. Saw the pics you were talking about. Brings back some good memories. Wasn't sure til I saw Jimmy Roberts sticking his hand up to knock down a pass by a CC qb and remembered that was his SR yr. Originally i just saw Bryson Warner and Jeff Lindemann and assumed since Bryson was playing it was our junior yr but he played as a soph. I myself am more a fan of the new Boone uniforms as well as Frankfort. The only thing I would add is bring back the neck rolls! More intimidating!!

Great shape based on how it looked after districts last year. Boone doesnt have the best facilities in NKY but like imsays had stated everyone gets a turn to host. The field wouldn't be an issue if the board would have allowed a former football alum to install synthetic turf. JMO

If u get over to see the girls I'll either be on fields 1,2 with U14s or 11,12 with U16s. Come say hello.

I think that is probably the case. Hope the 16s don't have anymore injuries this weekend so they are healthy for Nationals! Would love to see what they can do at Nationals with a full healthy squad.

I was told they were playing in Wisconsin but my source has been known to be mis-informed lol. As dinged up as the 16s are they could definitely use some extra bodies.

U16 kha red got a decent draw i think... Wisconsin state cup champions, FC Pride In, Ambassador are in their division. Then again its soccer.. Never know
