As for speed and being athletic I don't think North Hardin can be much more of both than Christian County and Franklin Simpson and Caldwell really should have won the Christian County game, anyway I'm looking for a good game, it's going to be tough to beat a 6a team, but the Tigers are tough at home and have plenty of athletes ready to compete.

I think it will be a great game, Murray really came after Sindelar blitzing nearly every play, sometimes the blitzing looked like it helped him find his receivers better. Caldwell was in a position to score more points but Murray held them a few times near the goal line. Traditionally it has been really tough to go to Mayfield and win for the tigers and it won't be easy friday night, also I think Mayfield wins the state championship in class a.

Looks to me like they are just about even, they all play some strong teams and some weak teams and some rivals that may be a bit down, but rivals nonetheless, there will always be disagreements about strength of schedule. CAL playing Male might give them the edge.

If you have looked at the schedule, you know who they are, I'm not saying Caldwell doesn't have some weak teams on their schedule. Cal and DeSales schedules may be slightly tougher but that's about it, there has always been a mindset that if you don't play schools from the Louisville or Northern KY area, then you are not as good as they are, which needs to be changed

I would say there is not a whole lot of difference between the top 5 teams. CAL does play the toughest schedule of the 5, I keep seeing that Caldwell's schedule is weak and I have looked at the other top 5 teams and see 5 or more weak teams on their schedule that nobody is talking about.We will see how it plays out, Murray had a great defense and Caldwell won at Murray and scored more than Mayfield did on them and Murray has gotten better each week with their new system. As for the the weak defense comments, most of the games were out of hand at halftime and the starters were out, not sure where that's coming from if you have seen any of the games.

ColtPride, I see you are still stung by the loss to Caldwell County two years ago, A schedule that has two five a schools and Union and Trigg County, plus Green County and Mayfield and Murray is not weak, 2a schools should not be beating 5 a schools no matter how weak they seem to be, although Mayfield has been doing it forever, pot meet kettle, Washington County, Shawnee, Fort Knox,Thomas Nelson and Southern aren't exactly setting the world on fire either, it doesn't matter where the Tigers are ranked, not really sure how a Louisville school is paying in 2a, but if we meet, the same skill players that DeSales couldn't handle are still here and better, so number 2 is fine with us.

I think Caldwell County wins this one 62 to 21 , I don't think Ballard will score more than that unless it's after the starters go out.
