Delk is hit from behind attempting to pass, loses the ball and it is ruled a fumble recovered by East.

Parsley from 4 yards out gets his third rushing TD then they throw it for the 2 point conversion. East leads 22-14 early in the second.

Ayden Jones 2 yard TD run. 14-14 at 19 seconds in the first.

FS punts and it is returned to the FS 1. Parsley gets the TD on the next play to make it 14-7 East.

Holding against East kills their drive and they punt to the FS 20.

Brady Delk to Colin Anderson 26 yard TD pass. 7-7 at 8:13 in the first.

Parsley 9 yard TD run. He even kicked the extra point. East 7-0 at 9:30 in the first.

East to receive.

FS doesn’t have a superstar player like Parsley, but I think they have more good players overall than East. If they can keep Parsley from taking over the game, I think FS will win but I don’t expect it to be by more than a touchdown. Parsley is one of my favorite non-FS players to watch. Should be a good game.

Well at least I got a point in the pick 5 contest.

I listened to the end of this one on the way home from Munfordville. Logan County had the ball at their own 9 with 3 seconds left, leading by 8. It was 4th down so all they needed was to kill 3 seconds and then it’s over. Often a team will take a safety in that situation. However they snapped the ball and the player slid down OUTSIDE the end zone at the 1 with a second left. Yes, East got one play at the LC 1 yard line with 1 second to go. Dane Parsley ran it on a keeper but he was stopped. The Cougars escaped in spite of one of the most bizarre plays in recent memory. Unbelievable. Also, Warren East led 19-0 after one quarter. Big comeback by the Cougars.

Final score Hart County wins 28-7. Congratulations to the Raiders in winning their second straight district title. FS will be the 3 seed and most likely travel to Hancock County in the first round. If they win that game, they will most likely be back up here at Munfordville in the second round.

44 yard TD pass Brady Delk to Cason Groves for FS. HC leads 28-7 with 4:14 to go. Twice tonight FS has run plays where the QB didn’t roll out and got rid of it quickly. 70 plus yards and a TD. Hopefully the Wildcats will learn from that.

A fumbled handoff by FS gives it back to HC. FS is minus 2 in turnovers tonight.

FS finally forces a punt by HC and takes over at its own 44. HC leads 21-0 at 1:49 in third.

FS drives to the HC 5 and is stuffed on a QB sneak on 4th down. Another wasted drive for FS.

Halftime Hart County leads 21-0. This is about what I expected. The FS defense has no answer for the Raiders offense. FS has been in HC territory on each possession but each drive has been killed by sacks or a pick. FS has been able to run the ball a little on HC but when they get some momentum they call a pass play that turns into disaster. They have tried only one quick pass to get the ball out of the QBs hands before the rush gets him and it went for about 30 yards. Every other pass is some slow-developing mess that never gets going.

39 yard TD pass from Shoulders to Kyle Rutledge. Hart County leads 21-0 with about 50 seconds left till halftime.

FS punts to HC 34.

99 yard TD drive capped off with a 3 yard TD run by Brennan Griffin. HC 14-0 at 5:10 in the second.

End first quarter HC leads 7-0 and has the ball 2nd and 7 at their own 4.

FS got as far as the HC 24 but a holding penalty and a big sack killed the drive. But the FS punt went out of bounds inside the HC 1 yard line.
