  8. Arguably Ryles best and most talented teams were 2010 & 2006. Both had highly decorated seasons. I would say this years team was talented and underachieved similar to what happened in 2009. Ryle is still a young school but since Warner left a lot of the history has been lost and believe it needs to be restored. If you had to ask me Ryles best of all time team this is what I'd end up with fellow alum are welcome to comment ppl I miss.
  9. I usually sit back and fact check for a program I have no connections to nay longer except being an alumni. But I'm sorry As a life long Raider fan your crazy to say this teams had more talent than 06 09 or 11 It ranks up there but no question 2010 was there most talented team and was a time when all the 6a schools and Highlands where dominate forces in NKY. They beat a Highlands team that was top 50 in the nation. Also SK had a very solid team with Chad Lawrence who was a better QB that Kuntz or racke. 2006 was good but had a pretty nice playoff schedule once they were done with NkY teams. 2009 had talent but it didn't reach its full potential till 10. 10 also gave Trinity with its 6 FBS D1 athletes a run for there money in the semifinals. This years team didn't even survive Cooper or SK. Good team but no better than 3/4th best.
  10. Ockerman any good now that they have those 3 new kids.
  11. Any score updates from today. I thought Beechwood played Ockerman interested in that 8th grade matchup
  12. Erlanger Classic will be a good showing. i believe first game is 430 8th grade Highlands vs Ra Jones.
  13. so for 8th grade who are the favorites now in the SMALL division with Jefferson at Beechwood? Because Newport dominated everyone in 7th last year with him. 1. Beechwood 2. Newport 3. Bracken Cty 4. Tichenor 5. Jones I know that Tichenors best player went to Jones but they lost Lucas Jones who was probably one of the best bigs in middle school ball.
  14. Does anyone know anything about the Campbell County fall classic and what teams are participating this year?
  15. Boone county has a decent Freshman class for Football they will continue to build!
  16. I am out of the loop this year and was wondering if anyone could fill me in on who has looked good so far this year in Freshman football in NKY.
  17. Ryle & SK are top dogs in my books right now in NKY. Cooper is third IMO. As long as SK & Ryle keep rolling there matchup in October could be Game of the year in NKY. I think this will be a close game but SK pulls it out behind Powell. 28-21 SK
  18. My top 3- 1. 2010 2. 2006 3. 2009 Ryle has had some good teams and I have watched a lot of them. By far 2010 was the best though, IMO because of a tougher schedule than 2006 and better players. Seniors Mace Funk Hempel Zenvisky Teepen Mullins Schilds Boggs Lonkard Both Thibadeuas Delaney Underclassmen Elliott Weber Vollet I'm sure I missed a lot. The Talent really lived to its potential in 2010. Big line, good QB, defense was strong, and one of the most talent RB to ever go thru NKy. 2010 was also the first Ryle team to beat Highlands in over 10 years and ended there 37-0 win streak. In 2010 all the NKY teams in 6a had a lot of talent that year as well. Ryle finished 112th Nationally that year.
  19. What league do teams such as WAlton, Williamstown & Gallatin play in???
  20. One thing I noticed and liked in the small Division last year was the ability to play kids up. Hopefully there will be some strong competition this year because of that.
  21. Can anyone confirm that the teams are still the same in each Division of if any new teams have joined or switched? D-2 : SMALL SCHOOL DIVISION Beechwood Bellevue Bracken County Campbell County Dayton Ludlow Newport RA Jones Sharp Tichenor LARGE SCHOOL DIVISION D-1 : LARGE SCHOOL DIVISION Campbell County Camp Ernst Conner Grant County Gray Highlands Holmes Immaculate Heart of Mary Ockerman Saint Pius Summit View Turkeyfoot Twenhofel Woodland NKMSAA Basketball Champions Congratulations to the Northern Kentucky Middle School Athletic Association 2015 Basketball Champions D-1 Large School 6th Grade Boys- Highlands Bluebirds 7th Grade Boys- Saint Pius Panthers 8th Grade Boys- Gray Gators D2- Small School 6th Grade Boys- Beechwood Tigers 7th Grade Boys- Newport Wildcats 8th Grade Boys- RA Jones Jets
  22. I think Ryle Rebounds from a bad second half against B.Station. For a victory here. 1st half against B. Station looked good still some kinks to work out but was impressed with Morgan's pocket presence and the play of the receivers. Thought the running backs looked good. Defense really surprised me in the 1st half Selby and Meiman are heavily relied on to make outstanding plays. Need help at DB though Rich looks good but having inexperienced corners hurt them a few times tonight. This team isn't as good as the 2010 team or 2006 team but there is a high ceiling with this many talented athletes.
  23. We had heard rumors they were trying to expand is this true at all?? I'm guessing adding Teams such as Walton & Williamstown?
