Yes, but from looking at NCC the last couple of nights, they are not the strong team they once were. I feel if St. Henry played as a team, they'd have beaten them.

I agree, they are openly bickering with each other on the field, and venting their frustration with their team mates for all to see. It was clearly visible last night and it reflects badly on the St. Henry soccer program. The coach needs to step in and take control of the situation. Maybe bench a couple of players to get his point across.

In this case it applies to St. Henry. Last night I saw balls being played to where a player should be, but wasn't, and players trying to hold a ball while waiting for a player to make the run. Several directions were called, but fell on deaf ears apparently. I think St. Henry is a team with lots of potential, it just doesn't seem to be coming together yet. Early days...

Take out the players who refuse to listen to direction. Remind the players that they are a team, not a bunch of individual players.

Tough schedule, but I'm sure they're up for the challenge. They're a good team.

Already this year I've noticed some kids who started "flopping" or "diving" at around 11 or 12 years old and are still doing it in their senior year at high school, and still getting away with it! Lol

I am very familiar with that team, and know all the players. It's a great club team. I just feel that sometimes, when people log onto this site, they want to talk about and hear about high school soccer. We can all talk about Club during club season . I love Parker Kenney, great, solid, extremely reliable player either in mid field or defence.

This is a high school forum. The constant references to club soccer is getting old.

Maybe St.Henry is giving the kids who probably won't start or play much during the season a chance to get some playing time... or maybe he doesn't want to risk injuries before the season starts.

If the St.Henry rumors are true, it's not that the coach is silly, it's just strategy. Soccerama is really just a scrimmage, he might not want to show his hand until the season kicks off properly.

It's hard to tell what the regular season will look like just from Soccerama. A lot of coaches play JV kids just to let them have a touch of the ball at varsity level, and the stronger players aren't on the field together which can mess up play, and results.
