Interesting a Berne Union insider posted this (below) yesterday on an Ohio site. So still a discrepancy on who Brossart is playing 8/28.

Penalties were too harsh (other than the kid who threw the punch). That simple.

What kind of exception was SC trying to use to get out of the cancellation cash clause?

As deals go, there is usually a cancellation fee. Fighting someone who does not want to play you is a waste of time. Exercise the cancellation clause and move on. My school has received $5000 for not playing a game in the past.

West fan is saying game is still on. You sure?

That fell apart quick. Portsmouth West still has it on their OHSAA schedule and schools don't usually add it there without being confident it was a go. It will probably disappear less quick then it appeared

Portsmouth West has already added the game on the OHSAA's website, surely a sign they intend to sign the deal and play the game.

Is this game confirmed? In Ohio's OHSAA site it still shows Brossart visiting Sugar Grove Berne Union on 8/28, not Aiken.
