Well you are not correct. The same players that beat Gametime twice played this weekend. There were no players missing. No need to see how bad you can beat someone in pool play. Especially when you have 12-13 players.

Well, if Highlands 6th grade team is primarily the Gametime team? The team that won DII (Express) beat them in the D1 tournament the weekend before and last year in DI. Maybe those school teams are better than Gametime and Force? The Go Hard In Paint team is by far the best 6th grade AAU team. After that there are several others that there is not much difference in. Who do the Beechwood kids play for in AAU?

Just curious in AAU our team has played 6th grade Force, Thunder & Gametime. Do these teams have kids from several schools. Seems like I recall somewhere in thread where Beechwood is the majority of one of these teams. All three are nice teams especially Gametime and Force.

Would love to see the fouls on Dow. Didn't think he got his money's worth. Too bad Elkin's and he didn't get a chance to go at each other.

Upon further review. Definitely not a dirty foul by Boyle player on box out. He didn't t undercut him like I thought he did watching it live. I would call that a foul. I remember two charges against Dow and didn't agree w either one. A third foul he had his arms straight up and offensive player came into him. Don't remember 4th. You Boyle guys have all of the video. If it supports your claim I am sure we will see it. Just hate when guys wait for contact and flop over. Weren't trying to defend, trying to draw a call.

Yeah that very well may have been on over the back on Faulkner. Dirty play by the guy boxing him out though. Faulkner up in the air and Boyle player with super aggressive box out forced Faulkner to grab on to him. That is the kind of play that gets someone hurt. Bottom line is refs didn't let Dow play at all and Boyle still barely won. Mercer got a couple calls at end of game, but it certainly didn't make up for the fact the refs sat Dow.

As a neutral observer, it is easy to see why nobody likes Boyle county. They flop worse than Duke / Chris Jones. Flopped 3 times on Dow. Don't know what ref's we're thinking but they took Dow out of the game. Another on Faulkner. Just hard to respect a team that plays like that. Usually teams w good players don't resort to those tactics. That wasn't a hard foul on Elkins.

I watched a lot of both the d1 and d2 tournaments the last two weekends. A lot of good teams in both tournaments. In the 5th grade division, I was impressed with teams from Northern Kentucky. All had good talent and very fundamentally sound. Several good big guys on those teams. Who won the team league those teams were in? My son's team (Express) beat Gametime in D1 semifinals but I was impressed with their team and fans. Key Player played in the D1 and I understand they compete on a national level. Having won the HBC tournament for their grade the last two years. Ashland has the best 2nd grade team I saw. They are amazing in that age group.
