Highlands is definitely in the 9th region mix..Well coached and they always play hard

Supposedly a Lexington ref slugged a Sacred Heart fan as he was leaving the arena after the fan accosted him in some fashion. Apparently, the whole crew who had that game lost control, threw out the Manual coach and then gave Manual every call afterward that totally influenced the outcome. My sister was at the gym to watch another game and stayed for that game. She swears she has never seen officials totally control the outcome of a game like that one. To me the game belongs in the hands of the players. I hate when officials think they are bigger than the game

There are no great teams this year. I think the tournament is wide open. The senior class is weaker than past classes. I am basing this on what I saw of the junior all stars last summer. I have not seen Ballard or Butler play yet but have seen Elizabethtown, Sacred Heart, Anderson County, Notre Dame, Newport Catholic, Owensboro Catholic, Simon Kenton, Bullitt East and Henderson Co. All of those teams have serious flaws and are capable of being beat on a given night
