Bryan Station 2014/2015
I'm guessing Bryan Station Starting 5 would be Cj Walker (1) Andre Davis (2) Tim Dunn (3) Tequan Claitt (4) DeAndre Dishman (5). You have Josh Owsley (2/3) who is a returner, 6'7 big man (Transfer) Ronnie Carson (2/3 & Top 5 player in the state IMO), Mahari Sturgis (2/3), Ralphel Few (1). Now I followed Bryan Station very closely last year & this summer and saw these kids perform. That's why I say on paper they are the best team in the 11th region especially if you include the new addition in Carson.

Bryan Station 2014/2015
IMO on paper Bryan Station is the best team in the 11th region. When the football players WR CJ Walker#16, WR Tequan Claitt #6, CB Mahari Sturgis #4, WR Ralphel Few #1, and QB Andre Davis #2 return to the hardwood, things will be ugly for opposing teams. Bryan Station has two juniors 6'6 DeAndre Dishman and 6'3 Timothy Dunn, who received limited playing time last year will be major contributors this year. I heard they have a 6'7 athletic transfer as well that will also contribute. They are under a new coaching staff and depends on how they can get these kids to respond remains to be the question.

Questions.... Is Cameron Thomas (Madison Central) out for the season? Did Scott Co. get a transfer in from TN that is 6'7?

Bryan Station
Yes Tommy Johnson has been named the coach. He was introduced to the players on friday I'm very shocked that Jaron Brown did not get the job. From what I've been hearing, the community and alumni are furious with the hire. It will be very interesting to see how the season plays out for the Defenders. When will we be able to see the Defenders play under their new coach?

Bryan Station is not playing any where at the moment. If a coach is named tomorrow, I'm pretty sure they will begin next week. Does anyone know the dates of the High School Summer State Tourney at the KBA?

Bryan Station
Those middle school feeders are not necessarily going to Bryan Station. Crawford and LTMS kids may go to Henry Clay or Lafayette. Majority of Leestowns kids go to Dunbar. Winburn and Bryan Station Middle have the greatest chance of their kids attending Bryan Station High School (for basketball). Bryan Station is a very desirable job, but knowing how they (the administration) did Champ Ligon and supposedly Mike Allen, I doubt it If I would leave my job, come there, and get ran out like the previous two coaches did. This would be my point in hiring Jaron Brown, someone who is already familiar with the players/administration, the school system, and it gives him an opportunity to get head coaching experience. He's an "In-House" guy who has parent, player, and community support. Now from what I've been hearing, Tommy Johnson (Franklin co) has a group of talent coming up that will prominent in there district maybe regional contenders.

If Im Bryan Station's Administration or Athletic Director, I'm hiring Jaron Brown unless Phil Jackson or John Calipari wants it. It's the rapport that he has with the kids that's already there and the incoming ones as well. He has numerous of community leaders and big names support him and this program. I have no idea what went on during the season but I can say that when Jaron Brown took over as head coach, those kids played with more energy & effort.
