  1. Reasonable? You went from a Tattoo on your forhead to changing your avatar for a few days. I would say that is more that reasonable. Unless you have the same advisors as Howard Dean they will tell you to jump on that deal. :thumb:
  2. That's a good point scooter, 2 years ago AT would have had Rose Hill beating Oak Hill. By the way, if you didn't notice this is a good natured jab at my Royals. AT, I think shooter is right on the money. Use your most reset mug shot as your avatar for a few days. It would be a nice touch.
  3. AT, thanks for coming back. Even though we disagree on somethings I do enjoy you. I think Ashland fans should be encouraged by their performance against Catholic and not discourage over lossing to Fairview. The big mistake some are making is not giving Fairview enough credit for being as solid as they are, they could very easily end up their season in Rupp Arena. I still don't understand why a school that is such a vocal supporter of Proposition 20 scheduled Lexington Catholic. Not trying to stir up trouble but even Ashland supports have to admit that it is a tad bit inconsistent. By the way AT, that picture of you in the dark is the most handsome pick I have ever seen of you.
  4. My first prediction was going to be that AT and Shooter would disagree. I think this is a very interesting match up I would call it a toss up. Both have experienced injuries and have struggled from a record stand point. Russell has owned the series the past couple of years and I look for that to continue at least through Friday. I think it will go to the wire with Russell winning by 3.
  5. I can't find anything wrong with the Cubsters rankings. You could possibly switch a team or two but that's always the case.
  6. I am certain that shoeshine boy is referring to AT41 who has went AWOL after Ashland's loss to Fairview. Shoeshine, I don't know whether to like you or not but in this case I like you. :thumb:
  7. Actually it was 1982 not 1985. My mistake. However, that wasn't the last time Ashland failed to reach the regional tournament. They didn't get out of the district in Jeff Hall's first season as coach at Ashland. I'm not sure what year that was but it was the early 1990s. Either way quite and impressive run for Ashland.
  8. Rose Hill by around 30. I was there St Joe was overmatched physically. I think Euton lead Rose Hill with around 27 or so. Bair didn't play due to a minor ankle injury.
  9. I just really like this Fairview team. The are like a baseball team with an excellent bullpen. If they get the lead late it is over. Good ballhandlers, excellent free throw shooters. With that being said I like Fairview by 8.
  10. I am almost certain Ashland missed the regional tournament in 1985. Lawrence lost to Boyd then beat Ashland in Louisa. The district was only 3 teams at the time. I was there, the power went out in the middle of the game that is the thing I remember most. I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time if you listen to shoeshine boy.
  11. A Please give an example or to use your words back it up. B We will see. C I don't see how I need to back up anything. D Care to prove it. Surely you can do better than this.
  12. Were did I take a cheap shot at Russell or Ashland? I said Ashland would be in the mix. If anyone thinks they are being pursecuted it is you my friend. I am 38 years old I hope nobody is waisting their time rooting for me.
  13. Who is running their mouth? Rose Hill has as good a chance to win in the district as Ashland does. How would you suggest that I back that up? It is my opinion if you disagree fine.
  14. If you go back and read I said Ashland would be in the mix. I think any of the 4 could beat the others. So no I'm not going to guarantee anything. Hopefully the draw will work out or maybe next year Ashland can reserve a spot on their schedule for the private school from their own district rather than drive 2 to 3 hours to play other privates.
  15. I misunderstood Frances' post. She said that 3 of 4 were contenders. I made the wrong assumption on who the 3 were. Ashland and Rose Hill played Fairview to similar scores and neither have a win over a real good opponent. Ask Fairvew if they think Ashland is better than Rose Hill. The response might suprise you.
  16. Not quite that stupid! By the way, have you heard from Bluegrass Preps version of Joe Namath? Since they are not scheduled to play in the regular season the only way they will meet is if Rose Hill draws Ashland in the district. I would say that Ashland could hang, afterall they are a regional contender and Rose Hill is just ..........................Rose Hill. Frances, I have a sincere question. Why did Ashland schedule both Cov. Cath. and Lex. Cath? Ashland has been very open about their support of Prop 20. It just seems a little odd that they would schedule Lexington Catholic given the fact that they are probably the most contraversial of the private schools in the state. Not to mention Bishop Brossart was in the AIT. Is it me or is this scheduling kinda odd?
  17. I have to agree. Boyd, Fairview, and Rose Hill all have legitimate shots to win. If Ashland can continue their improvement you would have to also include them in the mix.
  18. No, Robinson will not be eligable until later this month. He transfered this summer from Rose Hill to Scott Co. and then from Scott Co. to St. Joe this fall. Fairview had to cancel the game in order to stay under their limit of games. The cancellation allowed Fairview to participate in the David Garnes Memorial this past week. It was something that was worked out between the two schools over a month ago.
  19. Just an information post. Rose Hill has added a game with Huntington St. Joe. This game is scheduled for 7:00 on Saturday 1/7/06. The game will be played at Rose Hill and is a late addition to the schedule due to the cancellation of the Fairview game.
  20. Fairview handled Euton and Rose Hill better than anyone else has this year. Remember Rose Hill played Raceland and Greenup to the wire. If Barker is healthy there is no way that this is a 15 pt. game.
  21. True, however you feel so certain of an Ashland victory that you put you forehead on the line. Hey what is in that cup?
