I am well aware of that. My comments are based more of what I observe in the regular season than in the regional tournaments. It just seems like they've done a great job at brainwashing the good old boys club of officials that we have in the 9th region.

Your welcome!!!! I do agree with your statement, but it's always amusing how the refs change the way they call a game from the first half to the second half when an opposing team has a chance.

No tears at all. Most of NKY know what I'm talking about. It's always amazing to watch the refs call completely different second halfs against opponents when they are challenging for a win or to keep it close.

Of course Cov.Cath. got the majority of the favorable calls. If you are a 9th region b-ball fan it is routine. Wasn't at the game but was told after just about every call the officials were over chatting with Ruthsatz and his cronies.

Doesn't matter what region the refs come from the calls always seem to favor them. Usually the refs always call a different game in the second half in the 9th region that always keeps them in games no matter what.

Either way, I do not agree with it. If you want to play a sport in high school it should be at a school in the state that you live in. I bet if it wasn't for the relative that sits next to Ruthsatz every game that he wouldn't be playing there. Again, I know that myself and other people that don't agree with this KHSAA rule just have to live with it. I will now jump off of my band wagon regarding this subject because I know that I am just peeing in the wind.

Does Frederick live in OH? If so I have a problem with that and being able to play for CCH. Even though it maybe a KHSAA rule that you can live in OH. and play for a private school in Ky. I think that is a crappy rule. I believe that was the case for the Campbell kid several years ago at Holy Cross. I heard that he had a chauffeur pick him up every day for school. Did Fredericks parents move to NKY or is he using a relatives address to play for CCH. This is nothing against Frederick or his family personally because I do not even know them. It is just my opinion that if you live in OH you should not be able to play for a Ky. Private school. I do not want to get into an exhausting debate that goes on here about public vs private. I will always believe that schools such as Cov.Cath., Trinity and St.X definitely have competitive advantages over public schools and nothing will change my mind.

Cooper does have a lot coming back and should be right in the mix next year. But again who knows how many more kids from Ohio may walk in the Cov. Cath. gym this summer.

I'm sure UK will be scouting the Ft. Thomas pee wee football fields and dreaming about the up coming players for the Bluebirds.......LMAO!!!!

CCH should be the favorite. No doubt they have a good thing going. Plenty of feeder schools and able to have Ohio talent play for them also.

And how many years has the city of Independence been embarrassed of the SK football team. I am glad that they are getting better UK, but you will never see a NKY 6A state champion.

Bluebird fans, please quit letting UK fan get your panties in an uproar. I am not a Highlands alum but I definitely respect the Highlands football program and tradition they have built. I believe most posters on here do to. Don't worry, SK is getting better, but they will never win a 6A title. I also don't believe any NKY 6A team will win a state championship. Just can't compete with the big Louisville schools which has been proven time and again. Again, let him have his Ruby fetish moments. UK is the type of guy that you meet in a bar and just want to punch him in the face, but it isn't worth going to jail over. Keep winning the State titles in what ever class you are in and be proud of it. UK just lays in bed just wishing SK had the tradition of Highlands? I'm just one person that is tired of reading his BS and wanted to let it finally be known.

Lawnboy....I really enjoy your unbiased play by play of games. But regarding your comment about the Cooper student section. Do you really think New Cath's student section and basketball teams are choir boys and girls.
