As a pitcher who lost 4 no-hitters in my high school career, I am a big advocate of girls being able to put the ball in play to win games. Yes, 4.

Blown call. Runner is only out if batted ball directly hits them. That is an error on the pitcher.

First baseman goes for the ball 2nd baseman backs up as they are going to cover first. Pitchers don't cover first base in softball, just doesn't make much sense.

Running into a lot of this on our team. Don't have the numbers to be to strict on practice but do feel it is detrimental to the advancement of fastpitch in NKY. We respect when other sports are in season, I don't see why it is not reciprocated.
