Have to credit the Ads for adjusting. They knew Somerset wasn't going to let Meaux beat them so they've mixed it up well.

Wow, Cruver with a big pass downfield and Danville regains the lead but extra point fails. 13-12. The passes are not all that crisp but the Briar Jumpers cannot seem to bat them or play them as well. Ads receivers are getting back to those balls and bringing them in.

Again, really impressed by the quality of the Somerset broadcast. Nice replays and then inserts! Scorebug looks like something you'd see on Saturday and Sunday too.

Somerset's physicality may assert itself this half. Big run to the end zone to regain the lead, 12-7. 2 point conversion failed.

Pretty surprised the Admirals are ahead, honestly. Somerset almost unlocked some magic on that drive before haltime but just couldn't get to the end zone.

Bad call there on 1st & 10 IMO as it seems like the Ads receiver actually caught that right before going out of bounds. Nullified anyway because the Ads fumbled after a deflection would've netted a nice gain.

Really appreciate Somerset having a live stream of their games. And the stream is well done too! Wish the Ads did the same! I'd even pay a bit to get it so long as it had a score bug, commentary, and the video can keep up with the action (unlike NFHS).

The Ads will basically have to play a perfect game to win this, especially in terms of not turning the ball over. That killed them against LCA.

I hate how this game is being played so early in the year.

Great points here. Obviously Admiral fans would love to win - and I'm not one for "moral victories" - but a loss that is closer than the 42-10 game last season would indicate that the Ads are headed in the right direction going into the offseason. Like the LCA game, I just want to see the Ads fight for four quarters and avoid a running clock.

I know this is probably a reference to RPI but if anyone has Danville as the favorite in this game that is a dead giveaway that they haven't followed high school football this year!

Will add more later but Danville's offensive woes in the second half against Green County do worry me going into this game. When defenses are able to key in on Meaux, the Ads still don't have a reliable answer to that. Cruver has come along nicely as a QB but he's just a freshman and the Ads just don't have a diverse array of offensive weapons yet. Should be a fun matchup in round two between two great coaches in Kentucky high school football. I know this become RPI dependent when it comes to round 3 but who is the winner of this game likely to face?

Looking forward to that game. Somerset will be a prohibitive favorite but I'm just curious how this squad measures up. Still miss Somerset not being a district opponent.

4th & 7 sees Green QB pressured and he is taken down short of the first down by Sasha Wade. 2:06 remain and Danville gets the ball. Green just has 1 timeout left.

2:15 to play as Sellers cramps up and there is an official timeout.

3rd & 7 sees a long pass that falls incomplete. Sellers comes close to picking it off.

2nd & 19 Green's QB rushes out of bounds for a gain of 12.

1st & 20 sees a Green option play only go for a 1 yard.

Green flagged on first down for holding.

Green does an onside kick and this time it works for them. The ball hits off an Ads helmet and Green recovers, starting on their own 45.
