IMO I was impressed with NCC. They had 20 wins, with good wins against teams ranked top 25 in the state. Also went to the all a state finals. They only had one returning starter and 2 players with real varsity experience and a new head coach. With 0 seniors I would say that's not too bad. Just happened to run into Highlands first round of districts.

Should be a great game. I feel whoever gets past this one makes a deep run in the regionals. Either one can beat ND

Its Jill Hoover. She would have been a senior starter but tore her acl during soccer.

Did they trade layups or give ncc two free points? I read it as back to back free layups

Actually went to this game. Fist time in this gym. Holy Cross fans cry and beg the entire time. Kind of embarrassing. HC won fair and square. Get over the past.

Without a doubt... If you were not at the game, then its very understandable to think something was fishy. Can't take the win from the NC girls and put it all on refs. JMO

1st post, finally decided to weigh in... HC offense consisted of one pass to Beal, and she took her girl one on one for a midrange jump shot the entire game. Never really got the ball inside. NCC offense was exact opposite. They probably only took 5-10 shots outside of paint. The rest were right at the basket. HC seemed to foul to prevent easy baskets. Definately lopsided at foul line but don't feel if you were at the game you would have even realized that stat. HC started fouling with about 4 min left in game
