  1. Conner's Fogle is listed on the above roster as well.. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
  2. I don't think you meant any harm.. I took my frustration out on your post.. My bad.. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
  3. Glad I could entertain you... I just get so tired of hearing those types of questions when something is brought up about a player being good. Not saying you in particular, but there are people out there who think "well so and so doesn't have offers, so he must not be as good as they say" What is comical are these coaches who are calling kids, hyping them up about commitment and whatnot, then two weeks later they are on to greener pastures.. I delt with it when I was in high school and being recruited. I was pretty good, on the all state roster blah blah... I had division 1offers and played small college ball. Why? Because I liked the coaches and they were genuine. There are people out there who have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to talent. Didn't mean to bomb on you RE.. You just happened to be the one who mentioned it. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
  4. It's not always about how many "D1 offers" a kid has.. this award is not only based on what they did on the field, but also what kind of young man they are off the field. It's an honor to be selected, It's not a peeing contest to see who's got the most interest from blow hard college coaches. I personally get tired of hearing "how many offers?" "who's offered?" Just because someone may not have multiple offers, or offers from Big 10 schools, doesn't mean they are not a great football player.. All of the players honored at last night's banquet deserve it, and represent their schools very well. Some of them may play D1AA, D2, NAIA, or not at all.. Some will play other sports in college, some will not play any sports, and double major and get a PHD.. Congrats to the Top 26.. You all earned it.
  5. Or it could be that guys from other teams were more deserving to be on the team.. I'll repeat my earlier post, not everyone gets a trophy.
  6. South Oldham is in a NKY district, so yes, they are considered a NKY team.. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
  7. Something that I don't understand, isn't WV in a NKY district? Along these same lines.. South Oldham is in the NKY district with Conner, Cooper, Scott, and Grant Co.. However The QB from South Oldham that played in the Best of the Bluegrass game was on the Louisville roster... Strange.
  8. I am not sure why they are releasing the roster in pieces, but like Queen of Pink said, Fogle from Conner was selected, and I'm sure there will be quite a few players from Louisville on this squad as well.
  9. Not sure I'm following this one Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
  10. I am going to have to agree with you that leaving Barker off the list is a massive mistake. Would definately have had him and Bir as 1&2 if I was making this team..
  11. This is a NKY all star team, not limited to just Jrs and Srs. To my knowledge tristate football accepted nominations for a few weeks, and then put together their allstars. Why is it overkill? If the kid deserves to be 1st team on both sides of the ball, why keep him off the list? So someone else, who may not be as deserving makes the 1st team? Not everyone gets a trophy, although I think many people these days feel that way.
  12. Would like to shout out Conner's Cameron Fogle being named 1st team wide reciever, and 1st team defensive back. Nussbaum from Beechwood for being named 1st team RB, 1st team LB, and 1st team Punter. Taylor Centers from Cooper OL & DL. Making 1st team on both sides of the ball is very impressive
  13. Just because someone hits hard, doesn't make them better than someone who doesn't hit as hard.. Nussbaum played nearly every defensive snap in the Best of the Bluegrass game, and made a bunch (double digit) tackles. I'd say he's 1st team.
  14. That is excellent.. Scary moment when he didn't move for 10+ minutes. Glad that he is not injured seriously.
  15. Offensive lines for both teams were pretty much non existent. QBs had zero time to throw the ball Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
  16. The Louisville team won 9-8.. Some of the dumbest play calling towards the end of the game by the ky coaches I've ever seen.. On a different note, anyone have an update on the guy from the Louisville squad that went out by ambulance? Thoughts and prayers for that guy.. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
  17. It is nowhere to be found.. KY's roster has been out for about a month, maybe longer..
  18. Woodside is the better QB... I'm sure they would rather have Durham on the field somewhere, as a TE, in this case, than on the bench. No reason to waste his athleticism.
  19. None.. But He is athletic enough, and big enought to play the position.. Logan Woodside is the QB for the KY team. IMO he's better than Durham. Most of Durham's strengths come from his running the football. There will be little to no need for a running QB with the athletes they have on the offensive side of the ball.
  20. I don't think either team will "dominate" the other.. The KY squad has several big time playmakers on the offensive side of the ball.. They won't be able to stop them all
  21. Kentucky All-Stars named for Best of the Bluegrass football game | High School Sports | Kentucky.com That is a link for the KY roster.. The roster for the Louisville team still reamains a mystery.
  22. I'm sure that it's going to be a good game.
  23. I am wondering how the turnout will be for this game? Who is planning on going? I've never been to St. X, what are their facilities like? After looking at the roster for the KY squad, I'd say the Louisville team could have their hands full. Anyone have any thoughts about the game? I haven't seen a roster for the Louisville team posted anywhere. It is not available on the website.
  24. Those teams would mix like oil and water at this point.. Now 6 years ago, before Cooper was built, and many of coopers players were set to go to conner.. That would have been one hell of a team right now. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
  25. Like usual, im going to disagree with you. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Epic using Forum Runner
