  1. Turpin and Dixie both go in 1-1. Turpin with win over Wyoming and loss to Withrow. Dixie has loss to CCH and win over Beechwood. Dixie's line has a size advantage on both sides of the ball. Turpin does use a lot of slant patterns and short throws. I believe Dixie's defense proves to much and causes some turn overs. I'll take Dixie by 14. They'll run and run and keep Turpin offense sidelined.
  2. So the Final score thread was closed? Little one sided don't you think?
  3. Tigers score from the 6 Pat good DIXIE responds, 41 yd run PAT good 41-20 Dixie
  4. Moore 6yd run PAT good. 34-13 Dixie :35 in 3rd
  5. 11 yd pass from Moore to Hicks. 2pt good 27-13 Dixie
  6. Dixie begins 2nd half on their own 35.
  7. Dixie pounds the middle. Owens 6yd run. 2pt conv. Fail. 19-13 Dixie As long as Dixie tightens up pass defense and pounds the middle they should be fine. Dixie must be near 60-70 yds of penalties. Just more physical! BW does have speed though.
  8. 13-13 all. Dixie shooting self in foot consistently.
  9. Other than some skill players going from RB to LB and back, Dixie only has two players playing substantial time both ways. 50 Brandon Bohn and 76 Branden Johnson. Both have been conditioning to play all night if need be. As for speed they are going to be O.K. there as well. I wouldn't be so cocky as to say 60-6, but this group of boys are itching to get some old fashioned payback. They're team speed and toughness will be to much for BW to handle. Dixie by 10.
  10. I'll take Dixie by 10. After watching BW against Lima, they're not going to be as physical as Dixie. They're defensive front is to spread for Dixie no to take advantage of it. Dixie's front four on D will give all the chaos the tigers can handle and with they're RB (Thomas) going down with injury, Slusher ( qb right?) Will have to make quick decisions or tuck and run. The defense is o.k. with either!
  11. Dixie answered some questions tonight. They are not the Dixie of past. Their defense flies to the ball. Their line was strong and got plenty of pressure. Offense was spotty but give them a chance and they'll get you. They will not be 3 and 8 this year.
  12. Dressman 1yd run. PAT good. 21-13
  13. PAT wide 14-13 injured player ok. Appears to be cramps.
  14. Moore 80 yd TD pass to Risch. PAT waiting. Injury CCH. 13-14 CCH
  15. Blocked CCH punt returned by Dixie. 14-7 CCH
  16. Teams are a lot closer in all aspects. Mistakes costing yards
  17. Correct. Game will start at about 9:10
  18. $10 is well worth seeing CCH have its metal tested!
  19. Dixie by three and here's why: First off two years ago the Dixie Frosh won a thriller at CCH and they know who and what is coming their way. Second, Dixie has improved the athleticism at nearly every position. From Moore to the O line who now average over 250 and aren't afraid of the big boys, to the size and speed on the defensive front. I believe it's going to be a slug fest between the 40's. Moore keeps them guessing, a combo of Caple, Owens, and Rodenhausen keep the run a threat, and Johnson, Bohn, and Fisk defensively will not allow a beat down of previous years. Like I said...Dixie by 3!
  20. Milford 20yd pass to open reciever. PAT good 37-7 Dixie. 2:13 in 3rd.
  21. 37-0 at half. Looks like Dixie is basically running scout plays. Milford has fight so no discredit to them .
  22. Moore 10yard pass to Risch (playing great) PAT good. 37-0 Dixie
