Bracken has never even SCORED in 6 meetings with Eminence. I hope that Coach Siple can use the past few years of embarrassing losses to turn the tide. If I was going with my heart I know I'd pick the bears, but I haven't seen eminence play. Bracken County 30 Eminence 24 GO BEARS!

Built up more excitement around football in Brooksville than anyone I've seen. Has those kids believing they can beat anybody! He gets my vote!

Yes. He has done a great job. This team responds very well to adversity and fights hard. Very impressed with both teams. It was. A hard fought but clean game. Dayton probably average five yards a carry on the ground. Fought hard. Just couldn't punch It in at the end. Polar bears had a lot of trouble blocking the devils but McClain ran for 2 scores and threw a 65 yard td to Connor rigg who diced through the devil defense to end the first half. Great, exciting game! I know you lost but devils fans should be proud!

Bracken County has only been around a few years (8) but has played Eminence 6 times. 0-6 against them, which isn't that remarkable. Whats remarkable is that Eminence has outscored them almost 300-0 in those 6 contests.

I don't know that I'm an expert, but Bracken should come in somewhat battle tested after a come from behind victory @Manchester (OH) and a tight win @fayetteville (OH) And dayton seems to be down. That being said, i've never seen, even the most 'downtrodden' Dayton teams lay down. So i hope the Polar Bears are ready to put up a fight! I say McClains speed and the hard hitting Polar bear defense wears down the flyers, 35-21

Yes 3 in the inaugural varsity season. They very well should eclipse that this year if they continue to play this well.

Manchester had one ejected for ripping the helmet off a BC player. Another was sent off by his own coach for throwing his helmet from Manchester. Multiple personal fouls and unsportsmanlikes for both teams. Only game I've ever seen with a ten minute (not exaggerating) officials conference over a call... I'm going to post a thread later this week to disuss but offsetting penalties on an interception ended up costing BC almost 50 yards on one play... Great win for the polar bears though! Huge to comeback from a flat first quarter for their first road victory since 03!

If a kid is not well enough to practice 100% of the time before the game, he is not well enough to play 100% of the game. I know it seems silly, but missing practice for ANY reason puts you behind on knowing and IMPLEMENTING what's in the game plan... and Im with DRaiders2-. i puked through a lot of practices... and went to school sick so i wouldn't miss practice... (and I didn't play in 51!)

Rigg scored and cummins scored twice. Houston also scored... McClain ran the show but didn't so it alone... Florer was a stud defensively along with Aaron Vanlandingham

Polar bears dominated on all sides. Two defensive scores and a punt return for a touchdown. Sophomore qb Cole McClain responsible for 4 or 5 touchdowns. Defense was relentless! Knot county plate hard and never gave up. Played with a lot of class. Definitely a learning experience.

i was once on a charter bus leaving a music festival, he took the turn too wide and clipped the cop car that was in the middle of the road. he didnt know so he kept going, got pulled over by a whole squad and swears innocence, we get to the hotel and he cant pop open the luggage compartment because there is a huge piece of cop car jammed in there. this was of course after spending 2 hours lost in ky... it was his last weekend of driving...

Knott Co. Central with a long haul up to Brooksville for their first game of the season. The Polar Bears of Bracken coming off a bad defeat from a decent Betsy Lane team. I don't know much about Knott Co. Central, and am unsure what this Bracken team looks like... Polar Bears 24-14 over Knott
