No game tonight, tarp was not on the field & it's still raining. As far as I know, no time has yet been told for reschedule.

Would love to be playing on the field next to Jess! SamBoy may shed a couple tears without Jess & Haylee at Dayton but I'm sure he'll understand as will their teammates. State softball tourney hasn't taken Haylee to final four yet but the experiences she has had each time she has gone has only made her stronger mentally. Making the championship game (when most didn't think NDA would make it that far) in basketball only solidified for Haylee that anything can happen if you take the opportunities you are given and make the most out of them. So to her, making state tourney next week....could mean sky's the limit. But as Heavy said...if it doesn't, so be it. Now I just wish we were going to get game in today!! ARGH!!

I am SURE being on the same field as Coach Coffey has escalated to the top of her list!! Hey, looking out at that huge, sweaty gorilla on the mound is likely to place some in a trance. Give her a little slack Dad!!

Some people won't like my response, but that hasn't stopped me yet... Yes, that qualifier leads you to nationals but just because you play, doesn't qualify you. You make it to the state tournament with your team, you experience something most girls you play against never get a chance to. It's a privilege to represent your high school at that level. Enjoy it and go ready to represent! You made a commitment to a group of girls in February, keep that commitment until the final out. You play summer for the exposure, get that 100%; my daughter is no different. However, your summer team is filled with girls that play at your caliber...have confidence they'll win a spot to nationals while you are trying to win a state championship. Enjoy the experience and memories you make!! FYI for everyone concerned about exposure....have seen college coaches at state every year we've gone. Will never forget the look on Haylee's face when she found out Coach Lawson watched her pitch at her first state tournament as a 7th grader. That was merely a bonus to her just making it there!!

She was just proving she was worth the trade & deserving of her award. But thank you, she doesn't tend to take it easy on anyone but if she was to, my money would be on HHS. Much respect for Coach Coffey & his girls! Great year & I'm sure much future success!

I can quickly think of two players (neither being Kennedy), without much effort, that can transfer wherever they want without any appeal to KHSAA :clap: So we probably won't really know who JMU has as a very good source until school starts. But I'll say NDA would be happy with any of the three and if all three came.....BONUS!!!!

From where I was standing it didn't look like it hit off her glove, but it was side view for us. Don't think any of us in bullpen saw it as an error. But mine could've been due to the tears from DK holding our girls down!! GREAT game by Dallis and some very nice hits by the Rebels!

The can of Lawnboy repellent will still be brought....just in case! Taking no chances. Boone89 may have it as his avatar but the real deal will be with me.
