  1. I have to admit the Ryle freshman looked very good last night but a couple of things stuck out about this team. I have a son that plays for CC and Ryle was just a better team but let me give a little friendly advice to the kids and that is play the game with sportsmanship. There were some pretty bad late hits that were not called and a couple of the lineman got away with some extra curricular play that was uncalled for. You all are a very good team but don't ruin it by playing like that because you have to remember that you have to play this team for the next 3 years and this CC team has a lot of good athletes on it and they may not forget. As far as the coaches are concerned show some class when you are beating a team like you were. Airing it out when you are up by 40 shows me the reason there are so many threads on this site calling for the heads of the coaches and why there are so many teams in NKY that will bury the varsity if given the chance. Again congratulations to the kids because they are a very good team.
  2. Everyone is talking about Barker and I will admit he has been good for the last 3 years. One thing that I think a Mr. Football should do is play with class and the 2 times that I saw him play this year he didn't. For the past 2 years my son has played him he said that Barker had the best sportsmanship that he had played against. He sacked him twice last year and helped him up and Barker told him good hit and this year he knocked him down again but the things Barker had to say I can't mention on this thread. I don't think it is all his fault but when you score a touchdown and your jumping up in the defenses face and running your mouth be your not down in the game. But like I started to say it isn't all his fault when you have your announcer introducing you as your next Mr. Football is pretty bold statement when your only 3 games into the season. If you want to represent Ky as Mr. Football then show some class and win with class.
  3. His name is Austin Richardson and he will be wearing #51 for SK this year. He played Nose tackle and DE for Campbell County last year. He goes about 225 but plays a lot bigger and gives everything he can when he is on the field. A great kid that will be missed a lot in Camel land. SK will be very happy with what they get out of him.
  4. People I was not bashing anyone on this team. My son is friends with Tyler and his teammate. I was just trying to get the other kids a little lover. I understand that without Tyler things would be a lot tougher this year. Tyler is a stud plain and simple and has told my son more than once how great he played. Sorry if I offended anyone but if you would have read my post completely I wasn't getting on him at all. He deserves everything that he gets.
  5. Tylere Durham is a great player. I think that the whole team deserves credit with the way the team has turned it around. Like I said he is a great player but there a lot of people that make him as good as he is. He deserves the credit that he gets but lets give some credit to the rest of the team. I have always been taught that 1 player doe not make a team.
  6. You just hope that because you had to eat so much crowe because they beat SK.
  7. I agree with weareuk after Boone ran up the score against CC last year and then the JV came to CC to play and had players the played over half the game the night before and started the JV game. Then after they won the game by a horrible call by the referees they stood on the middle of our field and chanted that "we own these bitches" I hope everyone runs the score up against them. That program has no class with the new coaches they have now.
  8. You should know. You had a good taste of that last week.
  9. If you were at the game it really would have been 9 points at the most. CC should some class and put their second string in and NCC decided to keep their 1st string in and that is how they scored their last 7 points. To me NCC should be embarrased not CC. One problem that I have with all this talk about the divisions is that all the private schools pool from different counties and not just one area like CC. I went to a private school and we had kids from all over Northern Ky. When you put teams like NCC,Cov Cath, Beechwood, and Highlands you are not just pulling kids from your area you are pulling from all over Northern Ky. These athletes that are going to these schools are going for one reason and that is to win a championship so to me they may not have the # of kids that go to CC but they have the same amount of athletes. To me Cov Cath is a prime example and yes they put it to CC 3 weeks ago but they have around 600 kids in that to me puts them right at a large school once you would double that # if you would add in girls. They pull from all over Northern Ky but people think that since they beat a lot of the schools in Norhtern Ky they are a great program and I have to disagree. If you think about it how fair is it really when these private schools are pulling these kids in like they are from everywhere and then they play schools that actually pull from within their districts and they get beat and then have to listen to fools like you say they should be emarrassed. Maybe you should think about what you say next time and just admit that CC put it to NCC this year and except it. They are a great program and I don't deny that but there are different circumstances with private schools and county schools that you have to think about.

  11. I would like to know where you get your information for one thing. They only got beat by 14 and that was because of NC 8th graders playing early on. Talk about clueless if you hate the county so bad just leave. I beleive that they will turn it around and next year will be a very good year with the sophmores they have coming up. These kids have never been losers and will refuse to lose.
