Wouldn't any normal fan question coaching after a loss like this? Also, props to you in post #166 for again, like always, bringing up Cooper in a Highlands thread.

It is equally enjoyable, from a Highlands fan perspective, to watch other teams fans, who so desperately yearn to be relevant, bask in glory after a Highlands loss.

LOL. I understand that it must be frustrating knowing that even a down Highlands team generates more interest, and is more relevant than Cooper, but thats what happens when your program dominates entire decades. String a few winning seasons together, then maybe we can talk. Fill your trophy case with something more meaningful than district championship (which I didn't even know they gave trophies for when I played) and then Cooper might be allowed to sit at the table. Until then, Cooper is stuck sitting in the backseat of Highlands car, they might even be in the trunk.

Congrats, the during the past two "down years" Highlands has had over the past decade, Cooper has beat them once. Pat yourself on the back.

How does criticizing the coaches have anything to do with running up the score?

Go back to man blocking, D coordinator needs to go back to his role as a position coach, weinrich needs to be coaching the D, Scott turner needs to be the main position coach for the lineman...... just for starters. I have issues with the conditioning program, but I already know your response to those so I won't go there.

it's a combination of both. If you had a clue of how many things have changed under the current coaching staff, and the magnitude of those changes, then you might understand the frustration. I understand a lack of talent. I understand injuries. I don't understand why some unnecessary changes were made, especially when those changes are visible on Friday nights. I get that Weinrich wanted to make his "mark" on highlands, but the phrase, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" just seems increasingly relevant with every nky loss highlands suffers.

I was just responding to why you have a bunch of former players commenting on how we did this and how we did that.....because when we did this and when we did that we didn't lose by 36 to ryle.

Don't you think former players are more qualified to talk about the current state of the program than a bunch of random people from different schools? I don't know why you think you have any semblance of an idea about highlands, but I assure you there are people in here much more qualified to talk about the issue than you.

Who on the O or Dline were undersized that year? Very interested in your answer.

I've met some highlands grads and they are all homeless or living in there parents basement....

So what you're saying is that we don't stand a chance when the band competition comes around? We just can't catch a break this year.....
