Well the coach could have thrown their # 2 at some point as many teams do , . Or dont lose your opening round game . EC gave up 7 to East Jess as well .

Its hard to say , maybe she will be when its all said and done , but ( strictly an example , I dont even know where Woodford Co is ) use Woodford Co as an example , they play more good competition in SOME weeks than East did all year. What would their pitchers stats look like if she played nearly all 16th region teams ? And likewise Fouts might have kicked tail against all those teams that a Male or Scott Co or Woodford played . We just dont know until the state tourney is played .

Rare a talent as this state has ever seen but I couldn't go with most dominant player ever ( YET ) she's still got this this state tourney and her senior year to prove that .

I guess the winner of the Woodford - Madisonville NH game in the winners semi's wins the trophy .

Well if Boyd and Fleming can play them to 1 run games I'd say they have a shot , not a good one but you never know. I guess Ashland has a pretty good thrower also. I think (??) they might have dropped some early games because of injuries ?? . To beat East you have to hold them to a zero, or 1 or maybe 2 , because 99 times out of 100 you are not going to get more than that . ( talking about most Ky teams in the region they schedule , not the top few in Ky )

Fleming over raceland 8-4 . East survives Boyd's upset bid 4-3 ... wonder why Boyd gives East such a hard time ? They steam roll everyone else but struggle with Boyd .

Cant argue that LCDawg . Not sure Russell can beat Ashland without Layne throwing . Russell tends to give up lots of runs and Ashland has decent pitching . If Fleming can get past Raceland it might set up a good pitchers duel with EC .

Fleming VS Raceland and East Carter Vs Boyd in the top half bracket . Ashland VS Russell and Rowan vs ? maybe West Carter ? cant recall. Several good matchups , Raceland has plenty of O VS Flemings good pitching. Boyd seemed to play East well earlier in the year , Russell is without their # 1 for at least 1 more game . Still East Carter's to lose with Fouts in the circle .
