Bad week for SK football. Frosh lose 41-0 against Highlands Thursday night and the Varsity lays an egg against Beechwood.

Some quick thoughts on the Highlands - Trinity Freshman game today. 1. Defense played great, the 3 scores they gave up were all in short field situations. I look for this unit to continue to improve. 2. Why does Highlands go for it on 4th and long in the second half when they had a chance to pin Trinity deep while still only trailing 14-7? The Highlands defense pretty much kept Trinity in check the entire game. 3. Does Feggins change the outcome of that game? 4. Nice block by Whitford on the TD run by Watson, good things happen when your WR's make blocks down field.

Any thoughts on Baby Birds scrimmage against Trinity on Friday? Predictions for Saturday's game against Trinity?

Would love to hear some thoughts on last nights 7 on 7 against Beechwood.

I keep hearing over and over the "new addition" is defiantly going to be a "game changer" I believe a 7 on 7 is scheduled for next week against Beechwood, not sure on the date/time/location.

I will agree to that, lets wait until we see them play until we talk about the level of play, hey I am hoping for the best for this group as I will have a son playing on the team next year.

I think next year’s freshman team will be a big challenge for the coaches as there is no true “leader/leaders” within these group of kids. Talent is marginable at best with no standout players. From my knowledge most of the talented kids played in the FTJFL this year and if you watched any of the games this year you would all agree there wasn’t much to watch.
