  1. What kind of team activities are going on right now, if any with basketball programs? Is this long search hurting this short in talent Ryle team?
  2. Big mistake on Beechwood's administration! Michael was a huge part of the success while Shumate was there in terms of running the practices and studying film. He was a big factor in Beechwood moving to D2, wanted to play better teams, start moving the bball program to a higher level. Parents and an AD that is ignorant got him fired. Period!
  3. That would be awesome if Shumate got the job but thought he was newly married and living/coaching in Indiana?
  4. You saw one game and you saw a coach that is a head case. White can fill it from anywhere but Mullins didn't utilize him. He is their best shooter returning. Stuhr is a force and will remain a force down low. They return some solid role players and with some new energy from the coaching staff I think they'll be solid next year. I do agree with you that the youth programs or lack there if needs immediate attention.
  5. Bowman was the freshman and JV coach at Ryle with the current juniors. He even stepped in for several varsity games when Mullins was suspended or ill, he had success at three levels. And I know for a fact the Juniors like him.
  6. Add Ryle to the list....Mullins is out!
  7. Incorrect or Not when Mullins stays positive and doesn't stop coaching when they get down by 8 - 10, Ryle can play with anybody.
  8. Ryle is fading quickly with shades of last years problems arising again. Mullins is starting to pull starters when they get down by 10 to 15. Healthy Mays or not it won't matter, Holmes 20 plus!
  9. Junior Tanner White will be a great second option for Ryle. The kid can shoot. A lot of spot up, but can also create shots.
  10. Coach Mullins ejected with two technicals. Not sure if its a one game suspension or multiple games.
  11. Michael Miller has been running the Summer scrimmages and workouts. He has been a major part of the Varsity program for the last three years in terms of running practices, watching film (hours and hours), and holding other coaching levels within Beechwood's basketball program. He has been a big factor in the programs recent success.
  12. Beechwood going Division II this year. Absolutely brutal schedule they will have, no more D III teams. I think its great for the school. Losing Fangman will be huge hole on offense.
