Actually, Mitchell told some sources that Sara Rowe would have seen some playing time if she had stayed but I think her feelings got hurt is the main reason she left.

Actually there could be three possible D-1 players on Rockcastle this year. Sara of course, Angie Lawrence and Makayla Hunter who is only a Sophomore.

Rankin from Perry Central will be a player to watch. I think she is only a freshman.

Clyde, I think you rated Kendall Noble too low! She does it all! Also, has anyone heard if the Pittman kid from Casey Co. tore her ACL?

They are probably like a few other of these teams everyone has been blogging about, get a decent transfer in and now they are gonna win it all. It seems there would be more pride in the school knowing that your hometown girls were the ones that made you a winner than someone coming in that has been disgruntled with a coach or their old school.

They have a couple of decent players but I don't think they are going to overwhelm anyone.

She is the first to be offered that I know of and I think there has only been maybe three other girls in the history of the Rock to ever play D-1.

Kudos to Sara and her attitude and work effort over the years. She is an example to young ladies to work hard and dreams can be achieved!

Possibly had potential to help Hammond especially in rebounding but she didnt show much last year and I also heard she didn't give a good effort in practice. She may not have gotten as many minutes this year as last year if nothing had changed.

She should have plenty of help on the outside with the Lawrence kid and the emergence of Makayla Hunter. Hopefully Hunter will get some AAU experience this summer. It would really help her game to play against good competition.

Yea jericho, thats the way I see it too and Sara will probably make the best of where ever she ends up. Let's just hope for a state championship at the Rock for the up-coming season.

A so called elite school does not make a player great, a great player makes the program elite. If a program has 1 good year with a great player and that player graduates then the team is down a year its because there wasn' t more great players to follow.
