  1. I see where the All-BGP football team is referenced, can you direct me to the link if their is a new 2011 team.
  2. That makes sense, but it sure was the buzz after the championship game, about a St. X visit from the young man. Take care and good luck next year!
  3. Thanks! Didn't one of St. X kids who made varsity as a soph. play QB? Is he any competition to Brohm?
  4. This was my understanding too. I though if you played one varsity play you had to sit out a year. How good would St. X be if he could've of transferred; another Pat White / Steve Slaton combo for sure. Charlie has a heck of a recruit! Since i didn't get a chance to see Brohm as QB this year, is he a pocket passer, scrambler, runner? On the Trinity side someone asked about Jackson Noe, who started three games this year at QB. They moved him to wide receiver. My guess it is between Ryan Frederick (Sr) and Mitch Cunningham (Jr). Mitch, a soph, had an all world freshman year, but broke his thumb during the end of the summer, fell behind, and hardly played JV. His best strength is his down the field vision, which unfortunately was Brad's biggest weakness. I saw both Freshman QB's play and they are truly outstanding so we will have to see how it will plays out. Not to mention the possible Army tranf............ Trinity will be young again needing some help from the incoming sophomore class since the next year's Sr class is so small in numbers. Four sophomores and one freshman started this year for Trinity which by contrast, I believe only 3 sophomores made the St. X varsity team. That shows you how loaded St. X is currently. Trinity, will return 11 starters which is encouraging. Go Rocks!
  5. I guess both schools are looking for help in the QB department. Go Army!
  6. Several St X parents came up to me after the Championship game and mentioned a possible local Junior QB transfer to St. X for his senior year. Has anyone heard this? Also, my son told me about the FL QB transferring to Trinity but said it was Charlie Strong's son. I guess he got half of it right since Coach Strong has two girls and a son in college! By the way congrats to St.X
  7. Absolutely peaking at he right time. If they struggled against Shelby Co. or Male for that matter, predictions of a Trinity blowout would be in doubt. The Shelby Co. game changed that. So with that, the rocks will have little problem Friday night. They are extremely focused in practice. T 35 - Scott Co. 7
  8. Trinity has improved greatly over the past few weeks. The pass rush from all four down positions seems quicker. Even though Shelby Co. competed passes, T didn't give up the big play and they tackled well; two things T didn't do well in the St. X game. I see a similar outcome with Trinity winning 35 - 10.
  9. I heard it was the Shelby Co. running back who is serving a one game suspension and will miss Friday's game
  10. Trinity by 21 and thankful to be playing at home!
  11. I have heard as many as 10-11 Freshman will join the Monday practice.
