How have the Pendelton boys performed in 18 hole tournaments this season? What tournaments have they played in?

Greenup is solid and the leader of their troops will contend for individual. I agree with Greenup being in the mix at the top.

My Prediction for Boys State Title individual is Justin Thomas of St. X. Team State Title will be St. X and LCA dualing for Title. What second tier teams can challenge these two seasoned elite teams?

Could maybe do it with a big staff that doesn't mind travel and no pay!

"Great" score from Ryle on a windy day. Don't care if it was an easier course still great score today! Can they Contend or Pretend in Bowling Green?

Every region had very windy conditions. Who will go to BG out of the 7th Teams and individuals?

Looks like the Young Guns got it done. 8th grader Fred Allen Meyer posted 1 over and runner up overall.

Being Hot at the right time will bring a competitor to the top. "We Are" Marshall County came out and stunned the field 2 years ago. A two day tournament is different than a one day sprint to the finish on a course the players of certain teams may know well. My source says that West Jess was up on Greenup head to head for the year and WJ also beat St. X at Kearney. WJ is a very young team and could get hot at the right time. No one has a "Cake Walk" anytime you tee it UP! Is there any team in the western part of the state that could get hot???

Lexington Christian Academy looks like they will challenge St. X for the State Golf Title. LCA won the tourney in Morehead this weekend which St. X played. You better be five deep to challenge one of these two schools in Bowling Green although the first step for all schools is to get to Bowling Green.:idunno::idunno::idunno: Who is 5 deep that will challenge?

So we probably don't need to look for him in Bowling Green?

Will Holy Cross be at Kearney Hills next weekend?

Emma is in a league of her own. No disrespect to the others mentioned. They are all very good!!!! Emily can go low and will continue to gain confidence.

Fan of 11th~I did see the scores from the KIT. I was very impressed to see the 8th grader Meyer contend. I was not suprised!!! Look out upper classmen. There are many middle schoolers on the come that will make Kentucky Golf alot of fun to watch in the future!!!

Tell me who will contend with St. X this year. Will they dominate for the next 2 years?

If Nick can play we will see how he can mix it up in October at BGCC in the State Tourney. I look forward to seeing him play.

I think West Jess has a legit shot. Reason... Central was up sky high for Eastern who is a big rival. I see a let down from Central and a little Saturday morning magic at the Sweet 16. West Jess by 3. Polson will come up BIG.

Polson has played ball in Jess Co since a kid. He's not a transfer. The Boy's from West Jess are focused. Coach Hammonds and the boys have more in mind. What a humble team that plays with alot of class! You have represented the 12th Region and Ky High School basketball well!

Eastern will be in the Finals.

Anderson will go home early. The big stage is what Penny loves. Chest bumpin and so on. He is the best player I have seen in a long time. He could have used some leadership from the sideline at ACHS. Class is what I'm talkin about. Elliott has Class and knows how to play TEAM ball. Elliott will play Friday.

I'm with you. The entire team plays the same way. Leadership starts at the top. The coach is doing a great job with Polson and all the WJ kids. Polson will improve on many aspects of his game before next year. WJ and Polson will be fun to watch next year.

The Hazard Fans thought that was a bad call! WJ never looked back after that call.

The Mountain Boys were tough and I thought they had WJ going into the 2nd half. Great Job Coach Hammonds. The move in the 2nd half putting #3 on Carrot Top was a huge turning point. He did a great job at the top of the zone stopping #13. Polson is a great point guard and most importantly a TEAM player. The West Jess boys are a class act. West Jess on to Saturday morning but no further.
